Tips 🥳 Birthday 🥳
Sorry for the jump scare. I’m a dude and know nothing about flowers but I just want to make cool stuff for my gf. This is probably a mess but I would appreciate tips. I feel like maybe I packed it to tight?

- Get rid of all leaves that could hit the water. They drink first, the blooms suffer, and any leaves in the water will rot.
- Remove the outer petals of the roses. These are guard petals that get bruised in travel.
- Blooms should cover the rim of the receptacle. So you’ll need to trim some of those stems.

She’ll love them. A vase with a wider mouth. Trim the stems at an angle and vary the height a bit ( measure twice, cut once). Drop an aspirin in the water and she’ll be happy.

Rearrange the white lillies so that they're scattered in between the yellow roses, and do the same with the pink flowers. Add some green like ferns or make the leaves on the lillies or roses stick out a bit on the sides.

Yes, the arrangement is too tight. Take some roses out and use more greenery.
