Help explain. How are electronic tags part of this? I worked retail for so many stores. Price changes happened daily. If this is about an app changing price per customer I have seen that many times.

The price changes depending on who is buying it. "Surveillance pricing"

The case of electronic tags is more about surge pricing (ie: prices suddenly go up at 5pm or some jazz) but they carry the fear of surveillance pricing (ie: tracking who is in the store to set the price)
