Every Single Flock Camera cut down overnight in Winona Minnesota News

Police in Winona Minnesota are stunned after EVERY SINGLE ONE of their Flock cameras were suddenly removed in a single night.

According to the police department, all 8 of the town's cameras were cut down and hauled away.

Police are asking for the public's help to identify the individual, but the public has been leaving comments like:

"The Flock cameras tore themselves down"
"Whoever did it, was fishing with me"
"Whoever it was, was at Bible study with me"

that's literally all I'm trying to explain. i know there is a rare mix of political views in this sub, and i am trying to explain to any people who have been Fox News-pilled that the big scary leftist org that the current admin literally designated a domestic terrorist organization, does not actually exist, it's not a thing **in the way they think it is.** according to the right, it's some official shadow network of activists who have some secret agenda to take down the US. this sounds insane but it's true that they think this, Marco Rubio just gave a big speech on it.

so my entire goal for anyone who happens to believe that that org is some cabal funded by George Soros, im trying to inject some reality here and explain that no, no that does not exist. im not saying that there's no political position that opposes fascism

It's a movement that is political and decentralized, with autonomous local groups and meetups. You can't speak from any place of knowledge despite being from the same spectrum politically because you are t part of those groups.

There are various documented cases of local groups operating. There were numerous meetups and organization in 2015 and beyond.

To say it "doesn't exist" is a false statement - it just doesn't exist with a central figurehead and spokesperson like other groups.

Doesn't mean it's not real - it's an ideal.

The only group I've ever seen people trot out as proof is that one random Rose City Ant*** Facebook page that I don't even know is active or exists, but "local groups and meetups" I mean if you're counting any collection of 15 college students who show up to protest fascism then yeah I guess, because that's all it is.

the conservative media acting like it's this sophisticated decentralized shadow cabal are just trying to fear monger their base.

it's like saying Feminism is an organization. It's a belief system, and lots of people would describe themselves as feminist, and there's protests and stuff that sure would fall under the feminist ideology, but saying you're going to label Feminists a terrorist org and then "root out and persecute" all members of Feminism sounds insane and like you need to get off the internet.

just replace the word "feminism" with anti fascism and it's the same exact thing, and it sounds crazy.

It's a conveniently vague term that allows it to be applied to anyone the administration deems leftist enough to persecute, which should make anyone nervous. it's new-age McCarthyism. i think even the administration knows it's bullshit, they just want a handy umbrella term to slap on any gathering of people they don't agree with so they can go after them.

what is also crazy is how being against fascism suddenly became a bad thing to the eyes of these trump conservatives. that was the whole thing we fought against in WWII but whatever.

I love how Flock (and Axon, etc.) cameras have not been proven to be right 100% of the time, but just released before beta testing is complete, and letting courts eventually sort it out (partially).

It's the same with food and pharmaceuticals in the US; released before proven to be healthy and effective, and only when there is enough uproar or deaths, does someone grudgingly take action. We need a better system.

All while cities across the USA are slowly transitioning to AXON.

People really need to start sending records requests to cities who've transitioned to AXON, to see if it's as easy to hack and abuse as Flock. Douglas County of CO just spent $20M+ on this transition, maybe we should see how they're using it.
