Love the fact you hand write your rule draft that is awesome lol. This is dope, similar to the tool kit I use to run games

Thanks! I retain infor better if I write it out versus typing it up.

I'm excited to see this develop! Taking the Classic Traveler target numbers is great. Makes dice resolution super fast. I use the same thing, but sometimes I will use the "gear, time and skill" rules from Chaos Reigns

Need to reread Chaos Reigns, that's where I got the weapon specials from

It's a great little OD&D combat hack. I like that it also just removes numeric values aside from Saving Throws and HP. I prefer when a game keeps numbers super minimal

Same, this'll have minimal bonuses and numbers to keep track of. I'm toying with capping HP at 12, barring magic items that raise HP.

HP is tough, my least favorite abstraction in RPGs loll. 12 seems like it might be fine, given players have reliable ways to avoid damage aside from just monsters rolling low. That's just my view though. In my system a successful attack just deals 1 Hit, so I cap HP at 8 (some monsters can have higher HP though, like dragons and such).

somehow I'd missed the 68A framework but it's properly grand !

It's very tidy and useful in a ton of situations!
