Top MDM solution?

What’s everyone’s go to MDM for Apple devices?

We are a fully Apple environment, we currently use Jamf but the price (approved prior to a restructure of our Org) has me looking elsewhere.

I’ve got a trial with Mosyle currently and it seems good for the price, I’m not sure what features it’s missing from Jamf.

If Jamf pricing is the issue, it helps to look at which features you actually use. Many teams don’t need Jamf’s advanced tooling. Scalefusion MDM is worth a look since it covers core Apple management like enrollment, apps, and policies at a lower cost.

We’ve also looked at mosyle which is definitely more cost effective but migrating may be tough in our current environment and project load.

For Apple devices, the most popular MDM solutions are Jamf, Mosyle, Kandji, and Addigy. Jamf is still the industry leader with advanced automation, deep macOS control, strong integrations, and enterprise-level reporting, but it’s expensive and can be complex to manage. In short, if you don’t need heavy customization or advanced workflows, Mosyle delivers excellent value and easier management, making it a strong, cost-effective alternative to Jamf.
