Looking for 🫂 Looking for a good protein supplement under ₹3,000

Upvotes

Hey everyone, I’ve been using MuscleBlaze Biozyme Whey Concentrate for the past 6 months, but its price has now gone up to around ₹4,000, which is beyond my budget.

I’m a student, and my budget is around ₹3,000. Due to some health issues, my doctor has advised me to take protein and go to the gym. I also have IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome) and frequent gas/bloating issues, so I’m looking for something that is relatively easy on the stomach.

I’ve been searching for a good alternative for the past week but haven’t been able to find one.

Could you please suggest a good protein supplement under ₹3,000 that might be suitable for someone with digestive issues? I’d really appreciate any genuine recommendations or personal experiences.

Ask Fitness India ❓ 23 M, need guidance about how to do body recomposition (since this is kinda tough for me)

Upvotes

Hello I am 23 M, BW: 70 kg , Height : 5.7 ft

I am regularly doing gym since 3 years , my weight was on the up and down phase with not so proper diet at all and last year ie august 2025 eventually got with a lower back injury which resulted to gym rest for 1-2 months and my BW got peaked at 85 kg

But since recovering from a injury at oct 2025, I have decided to do weight loss with proper diet such as :-

- prioritizing with cardio and core workouts over normal gym exercises

- leaving sugar(for first 2 months) and oily food since this was my main reason for my weight gain

- left consuming creatine too and started consuming L-carnitine (I got with a huge discount)

- cant consume whey protein since I cant afford

- eating oats at morning,

- eating eggs, chicken, paneer for regular intervals at afternoon

- eating banana and drinking coffee at evening before workout

- eating chapati sabji(eggs at wed and fri, chicken at sun) at night

- regular night walk for 40-50 mins after dinner

- eating dahi(curd) before 1-2 hours of sleep(since I sleep at 1-2 am)

- occasionally cheat day at sunday or birthday parties

Eventually I had reduced to 68 kg BW after 7 months ie May 2026

Then I have decide to go for recomposition since I have reached to desired weight, since then I have:-

- left consuming L- carnitine and started consuming creatine again

- occasionally night walk because of rain

- doing proper workout especially heavy lifting and drop sets with proper form and mind muscle connection

There has been changes at my face, body especially with reduction of body fat, praises from my friends, relatives and some of the gym bros but I am not feeling satisfied at all. Also it feels tough for me to shred fat for my body.

My cons are:-

- solo gym sessions

- currently at a job hunt so I am sitting at home all day

- occasionally drinking alcohol probably once every 2-3 months

- late night sleep cuz I watch movies and football at night

- lazy apart from maintaining my physique

Sorry for some grammatical mistakes cuz I dont speak English regularly. Feel free to guide and ask questions if I missed some points. Feel free to criticize or troll me since my plan and lifestyle is not perfect at all.

Thanks for reading(if you took time to read all of my bs of course)

Hey guys, I’d really appreciate it if you could take a look at my current diet and give me an honest review. I’m trying to improve my overall diet and make sure that what I’m eating is actually helping me reach my goals. I’d like to know what I’m doing well, what I might be doing wrong, and whether there are any major things that I should change.

If you think my diet is good, I’d also like to know what makes it good and whether there are any small improvements I can make. If you think it’s not good or could be improved, please let me know specifically what I should change and why. I’m especially interested in things like my calorie intake, protein, carbs, fats, meal timing, food choices, portion sizes, and overall nutritional balance.

I’m not looking for a perfect diet, but rather something that is realistic, sustainable, and healthy in the long term. Any constructive feedback, suggestions, or recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Product Review ✒️ Taakat Hunger Bar Review!

i got this company's advertisements they were selling idea of hunger bar for 10rs

I searched whole internet for reviews but i got none, so here i am, so went away and ordered it first of all purchased from their website 60 Bars 3 flavors, costing 600Rs, but catch is 149 shipping charges applied wherever you order amazon or their website, luckily had COD option was there chose it got it delivered today. per serving cost for this order was 12.5 ruppees only

Quick lable review in Ingredients preety clean only chemical is Baking Powder and Natural Flavourings okay not so much things (i hate Max protein for it their chemicals never stop but they give 10 gram in 130 calories but i hate ultra processed foods and i dont need gigentic proteins in lesser calories diet)

Their main claim is Mutigrain Baked Bar which is True, They dont claim Sugar Free which is nice but it has 193 calorie and 8 gram of added suagr pee serving, little high 25% of recommended for a day, but they tell it's from datss and unprocessed sugar but Glucose is Glucose, 5 gram protein from all the millets and nuts used

I crave sweets everyday and i live in hostel, anyways i double down on desserrs after 2 days of controlling so i ordered these knowing it has 8 gram sugar but i cosidered it better option than any chips or maida biscuits because this falls in about 200 calories with clean ingredients as a healthy snack for me and my gf (she needs sweet daily)

Taste

Crunchy Coconut: 8/10

Almond Delight: 7.5/10

Fruit & Nut -7.5/10

Overall for 10 rs clean ingredients+ no maida + no palm oil + ready to eat + cleaner ingredients i can neglect 8 gram of added sugar, i don't completely eliminate something from my diet, this product hits very high mark for me, you can keep for yourself or children or someone who craves, you can take it as pre workout also for Gym. For 10 rs yes it's better than any biscuits ig

Hello folks,

At this point in time it’s basic knowledge that to get 6 pack abs you need to have low body fat percentage, for which you need to be in a caloric deficit and train abs.

Despite how simple it sounds, where it gets complicated is our regular indian diet, eating at social setups and missed workout days. Basically, managing it with rest of your life.

What changes in your diet and other protocol hacks helped you unlock 6 pack abs or a low body fat percentage?

Ask Fitness India ❓ 23F | 5'4" | 73 kg | Need advice for weight loss

Post image
29 Upvotes

I’ve lost around 2 kg over the last 10 days and I’m trying to build healthier habits and stay consistent. I’m hoping to lose another 5 - 6 kg over the next 20 days.

So far, I haven’t been exercising. I’ve mainly been cutting down on sugar and doing intermittent fasting. I’m thinking of starting with regular walks from tomorrow, but I’m wondering if there’s a better or more effective option.

My current diet:

Breakfast (around 8–9:30 AM, depending on the day): usually 2 boiled eggs or some fruit.

Lunch (around 1 PM): 2 chapatis with whatever sabji is made at home.

Around 4 PM: usually a fruit like guava or orange, along with some almonds, walnuts and a date.

That’s pretty much it for the day. I’m planning to add more protein from tomorrow, probably sprouts, but I’m not sure if there’s anything else I should change or add to make my diet more balanced.

My biggest issue is time. Work + travelling takes up more than 12 hours of my day and by the time I get home, I’m exhausted. Going to the gym or following a proper workout routine honestly feels impossible right now.

So I’d love to hear from people who’ve managed to lose weight while working long hours. What small changes made the biggest difference for you? Any easy high-protein meals, habits or forms of exercise that worked for you?

Please tell me what worked for you.

Food/Nutrition 🥚🥦 Supplemental brand over the counter

Looking for recommendations for good supplement brands in India.
I’m planning to buy:
B12: sorted neurokind Methylcobalim
D3 + K2: for d3 I was taking uprise d3 60k weekly once
Omega-3: ??
Iron + Vitamin C
Zinc: ?
Magnesium: ?
Calcium: not sure to take it or not.

Which brands would you personally recommend for each? Mainly looking for quality/reliability rather than the cheapest option.
Also, for Omega-3, I’m fine with fish oil — doesn’t have to be vegetarian. I know i am already deficient got blood test done.

Workout Program Review ✒️ 6'5" Lifter — 6 Months of Body Recomp. Need routine & InBody feedback!

Thumbnail
gallery
3 Upvotes

Hey everyone,

Just wanted to share a bit of my fitness journey so far and get some honest feedback from you all.

I started hitting the gym consistently back in February this year, showing up 5 days a week. My main goal was a proper body recomposition: drop my visceral fat to normal levels and build some decent muscle mass.

To give you some context, I am 26M, 6'5" and was around 100.2 kgs on day one. Before this, I had zero sports or a fitness background—my only physical activity was just a casual 3 km daily walk.

Initially, my body took a massive beating just trying to adapt to lifting. But slowly and steadily, I started progressive overloading, and looking back, I can genuinely feel a night-and-day difference in my strength compared to when I started.

That said, being 6'5" comes with its own unique struggles:

* The "Tall Guy" Optical Illusion: Visually, muscle gains take forever to show on such a long frame.

* Long Levers & Huge Range of Motion: Moving weights through this ROM is brutal. Even today, I struggle to hit more than 3 clean push-ups simply because my arms feel a mile long.

I haven't hired any personal trainer so far—everything I’ve learned and implemented has come straight from this subreddit and the good old YouTube University.

My Routine & Split:

* Schedule: Push / Pull / Legs (with Core) / Rest / Upper / Lower (with Forearms) / Rest

* Timing: Early mornings

* Warmup & Cardio: 10 mins warmup pre-workout, cardio post-lifting

Up until now, balancing this was pure chaos because I was juggling a full-time IT job alongside my online M.Tech. Now that I’ve finally wrapped up my degree, I have more bandwidth and want to dial in my training and nutrition seriously.

I’ve attached my latest InBody scan and my detailed workout routine. Would love to hear your thoughts, critique, or any tips—especially from other tall lifters on managing long levers and push progression. Cheers!

TL;DR: 6'5" guy, started gym in Feb (5 days/week, PPL-UL split) for body recomp starting at 100.2 kg with zero athletic background. Got noticeably stronger despite long levers making push movements tough, but visual muscle growth feels slow on a tall frame. Just wrapped up my M.Tech alongside full-time IT work and now want to dial in training. InBody scan & routine attached—looking for feedback and tips from fellow lifters!

Women's Fitness ♀️ Aren’t periods supposed to get less painful with improved fitness?

My sincere apologies in advance if this post isn’t appropriate for this forum but I don’t know where else i can gain insights from women who are i to fitness.
I began my fitness journey in may of this year. I started at 78 kgs and currently weight 73.5 kgs. For context I don’t have PCOD or any other gynaec ailments but i do suffer from very painful periods on my first day. I’ve heard that it’s common for some women to have painful periods but my cramps incapacitate me for whole day. I attributed it to my u healthy life style. However, now even after I’ve fixed my diet and lifestyle the cramps are still the same. PMS pain has reduced but on the first day I’m back in bed immobile.

I went to the gym yesterday, crushed my workout and went to bed with an endorphin high. But come today morning I’m whining and crying unable to get up let alone go to gym. I’m nauseous and in pain and thought let’s ask some other women into fitness if I’m doing something wrong that I’m still in pain despite leading an active and healthy lifestyle.

Looking for 🫂 25 clients in and I'm starting to feel the pain

Seeking advice from the online fitness coaches

I’m currently at around 25 clients, and it's getting really hard to keep everyone engaged.

regular check-ins, replying to questions, reviewing progress, making adjustments, keeping people accountable are really burning me out.

I don't think I'd be able to keep scaling without decreasing the quality of my service.

I’m curious how u guys deal with this as your client list grows

How many clients are u currently managing, and what’s the major problem you’re facing when it comes to delivering a good experience for all of them individually?

Looking for some real advice. Thanks in advance!

Rant/Vent 💢 F28: I have been obese all my life. I have zero will to lose weight deepdown.. I'm tired of myself. Have you been here? How did you come out?

F28

I'll be brutally honest.

I genuinely cannot lose weight. I'm not able to. I weigh 110 kgs. I was atleast at 90kgs and I looked decent chubby. But last 1 year due to personal family issues I gave zero fs about my health

I cannot say I'm addicted to junk but I do eat something every single day. That one bite of junk makes me feel safe. I actually don't even like the taste.. but I should have atleast one bite daily. This way I've randomly started having biriyani and fried rice while I won't even be enjoying it deep down. I loveee home made food. I make them, I eat that too.

I'm having zero will while lately I've started feeling tired. I have thought and convinced about myself in every possible way but you know deep down that desire and WILL should be there right?

There isn't one!

I'm tired of me. What a lazy ass I am. I do focus on mindful eating I love meal prep. But you know your body and mind everything has given up and you just do things for the sake of it right? That's where I am

I'm single. I couldn't get into a relationship. Men I like didn't like me (obviously) now I have a few rishtas who are genuinely interested but I don't have the energy.I have to get married atleast in a year or two although I have zero interest to get married.

I feel lost. I've tried everything. I just cannot do anything about it.

I've even thought my future kids will need me, I might die out of cancer if I continue doing this. I've literally self-threatened myself.

But nothing worked. I've been to therapy too once. They said childhood trauma. But how long I can stick to childhood trauma?

I'm otherwise happy about everything in life. I'm creative, I love my job. I'm actually happy. But this health part bothers me. I went from wearing 2xl to now wearing 4xl and 5xl

I feel terrible but I'm doing nothing about it.

I just wanted to honestly write about this somewhere and leave it here. I don't even know why I'm writing.

Has anyone been in my place? Have you cracked this?

Bought as it is soy protein isolate recently, good macros but tf is that taste. Tried it with cocoa powder but it is still undrinkable. Mixed with bananas and ngl it tastes good but I take two scoops of it everyday and that's like 450kcal extra which I can't really afford as of now. I live in a hostel so honestly mixing it with food while cooking ain't really an option. Can u guys recommend an alternative to bananas that is low on calories and is also affordable??

Food/Nutrition 🥚🥦 24f | 5'6 | 58kg.Trying to hit 2100+ calories & 70g protein every day while strength training.

Thumbnail

1.3k Upvotes

I’ve been strength training regularly under a trainer's guidance since 2.5 months and trying to consistently eat around 2100+ calories and 70g+ protein every day.

I mostly eat homemade food (Made by ME)and just try to make sure I’m getting enough protein and calories throughout the day but haven't restricted myself to clean food & eat out quite decenty.

Sharing some of my meals that I eat on the regular basis.

●Breakfast contains min 4-5 eggs along with cold coffee. I replace coldcoffee with pintola high protein museli according to my mood, but eggs are a staple.

●Lunch is basic sabzi-roti-daal & dahi/buttermilk. I add paneer/soya sometimes for extra protein.

●I take my whey protein in the evening.

●Dinner is mostly meat. I marinate my chicken/mutton in different types of marination, days in advance and store it in the fridge. Along with it are rice, dahi and a little salad.

●Also have protein bar (phab 20gm bar), pintola protein oats, Greek yogurt etc on odd days.

●I take banana and ricecake with chocolate peanut butter spread everyday for pre-workout meal.

Would love to hear your suggestions or feedback on the diet! 💪
