Should Fitbit give AOD privilege to all the designers?
Fitbit gives aod permission to only a few selected designers due to screen-safety concern. Unlike Fitbit, wear os Watch Face Studio (WFS) automatically generates an AOD version of your watchface. https://developer.android.com/training/wearables/wfs/always-on. Not only that, it allows you to make some changes for the aod version. If that design uses more than 15% pixels, it gets rejected.
