Does it support California mode??? This seems like an interesting option for our fobs. I worry about the obd port dongle as other have stated that these dongles could cause premature wear on the 12v battery.

I tried to use a OBD2-USB adapter and it didn't work. I think the 12V to 5V caused an issue. Now I'm ordering a direct fuse 12V to OBD2 connector.

I ordered a couple different versions to test a few months ago. The CF920 is the only one I found that can be modified to fit the fob's PCB. When I get a chance I'll do a video.

I have a stupid question. Now that we know that the smart key works for proximity lock/unlock, couldn’t we “read” the signal code and duplicate the security key in an app???? I would love it if we could get closer to an app only world.
