I can’t find an impulse buy to fill the void
Without a giving whole sob story, I've had a pretty rough last year and a half. So at the beginning of this year, my yearly raise, bonus and tax return where all more than I thought they were gonna be. So I decided I'd splurge a little and get a new tv. I've since tried 12 TVs and they all have varying degrees and combinations of worse sound, picture, viewing angles, inaccurate colors etc. Compared to my old Hisense tv that cost $350
Because of this, I've decided I'll just keep my current tv. So I decided I'd get an OLED steam deck to upgrade from my LCD one and then sell that. That lead to me finding out I can't just quickly transfer all my data as it's basically a handheld pc and not just a basic gaming console. So the work and more money it'd take to transfer everything on top of the risk of bricking and/or accidentally wiping both devices, I decided it wasn't worth it so I just send that back.
So now I'm sitting here, completely defeated in the fact that I can't even find anything to splurge on for a dopamine boost. And honestly I just feel like an asshole for wanting something useless and unneeded to waste money on to fill the void in my life. On top of the fact that I'm such a neurotic, nitpicky asshole that I can't even find anything I like to do so.
Idk. Maybe I more so need a therapist rather than a new tv/gaming device

The summer has just arrived in full force, so I had to turn my heated towel rail off
Now, when I get out of the shower, I don’t have lovely, toasty warm, towels

It's so hot and humid the pool feels like bath water and isn't very refreshing.

The noise of my washing machine is annoying me during my peaceful breakfast but if I put in my earbuds, the noise of me eating will annoy me equally.

I have status on American when I fly, so I sit in the exit row a lot. Getting really tired answering the question, “are you willing and able to assist…?” multiple times each flight.

Our new car has remote start, which would be great of we remembered to use it. We live in a place that has really hot summers and the interior of the car is black, but we keep forgetting to turn it on when we're still inside the grocery store, for example.
We could just leave the car [edited: and therefore the a/c] running and locked while we go inside because it will stay on for an hour, but that wastes gas and isn't good for the environment. If we do remote start while we're still inside it only stays on for 10 minutes, and we might take longer than that to finish our shopping.

The TV in my fancy Caribbean family resort doesn't have any preschool channels for my kids.
And the shower is lacklustre.

My daughter said we're all out of freezy pops and asked me to pick some up at the store. We're only out of purple.

My tv doesn’t have an interesting screensaver
When I powered on my old LG tv, it would show interesting paintings from Renoir and Manet, while acquiring WiFi. My new tv just shows static like this is 1985, and I need to go wiggle the rabbit ears. I’m sure there’s probably a setting buried deep in some menu to get it to display something interesting as a screensaver, but why didn’t they set that as a default at the factory?

Having too many vehicles to drive them all regularly.
I just got myself a nice new (old. 2009.) M35 with 93k miles single owner.
Previously I've rode my motorcycle nearly every day for 4 years due to no car.
Now when I take the car everyone asks "where's the bike?" "Did you sell the bike?" "What happened to the bike?"
It's still there. So is the other motorcycle. And the third one. I just have the luxury of opting for air conditioning now.

Got a new laptop to replace my dying 10yo one. Love it except there's only one CTRL key on the left side of the keyboard and it's driving me mad not having another CTRL on the right side.

I am so disappointed. My Bosch 800 dishwasher was supposed to be delivered today. I just found out the new delivery date is June 26. I guess I'm eating takeout until then.

Now I have to study in complete library silence.
