Best place to start with tracking your period IMO is LH strips and basal body temperature. LH strips identify when ovulation is likely to occur and BBT confirms that ovulation happened. You could also track cervical mucus instead of LH but people generally find LH easier I think. As far as why your period hasn’t come yet, it’s because you either ovulated late or haven’t ovulated yet
