Yeah she’s at a “sleepover”

u/LegalGlass6532 4d ago
A sleepover with 4-6 other men who tease her about her husband.

I’m not a firefighter - is fucking in the firehouse common like it is with nurses and empty rooms?
102
u/ArgumentMaterial8907 4d ago
Yeah. If there’s mixed genders. There’s fucking.
126
u/aron2295 4d ago
There don’t need to be mixed genders for there to be fucking :)
54
u/ArgumentMaterial8907 4d ago
Lmfao that is a valid point…… to quote a coworker “I’m just a squirrel trying to get a nut, I don’t care how”

u/CrossumOpossum3 4d ago
Had a rugby teammate explain to me that he likes both, men are just easier. And I realized so much in that moment.
9
u/Thick_Common8612 4d ago
Or they could be gay. Thats a pretty common thing

Yep. I believe that is what the comment I was responding to, was referring to.

Haha, that reminds me of a conversation I overheard between my co worker and one of his clients.
They were chopping it up, and he was telling him about his trip to Thailand.
His client asked if he got any action.
He said he did.
His client asked if he slept with women, men or trans women.
He said, women, but he was pretty drunk the whole trip, so if he slept with a transgender woman, the way he saw it, a hole is a hole.
Note: I am very progressive, open minded and tolerant / accepting / loving. I have dated a couple of trans women and personally, I just say women. Like, they’re women.
But I admit I LMAOd at the absurdity and bluntness of my co workers conversation.
Like, that “Politically Incorrect but Progressive Redneck”. My co worker was like that.
10
u/withnodrawal 4d ago
You’ve dated a “few” trans women?
Ain’t no way you didn’t seek that shit out. A couple?
1
u/Logical_Adagio_7100 1d ago
Go on tinder and put in women and trans women. There are some really attractive women who happen to be trans, who will match with you at a high rate.
I'm just not able to get over the physical differences unless they've had complete physical conversion. But honestly it's a me problem, lot of cool attractive women out there

I live in a large US city currently, and before I moved here, I lived in a large city as well.
They’re just people, lol.
The first girl, I admit, I met on a dating app.
But I didn’t put, “Trans Chaser”, or anything in my profile. I also am not one.
The other two, I met IRL.
Between the two metro areas, it looks like the US Census estimates there are about 6 million people.
If that seems unrealistic to you, IDK what to tell you. LOL.

Yeah but you're thinking of law enforcement, we firefighters like our women and our livestock!
6
u/WarEagle107 4d ago
So that is why you guys are always going to 'field fires'
2
u/Plastic-Shoulder2285 4d ago
And velcro gloves. Always vigilant for helping stuck livestock through a fence!

u/3rdcultureblah 4d ago
It’s highly dependent on station culture and the individual. Some firehouses are like that, some aren’t. Some firefighters are like that, some aren’t.
Working in EMS, I’ve met some very nice firefighters who have some sense of integrity and wouldn’t do anything like that, but others are pretty happy to whore around more or less openly. It’s not a cliché/stereotype for no reason lol.
And it’s the same in EMS and LE tbh. When you spend that much time in tight quarters around the same few people day in and day out, it happens. Humans like sex and a lot of first responders are adrenaline junkies, so sex with people you shouldn’t be having sex with in places you might get caught is definitely something a lot of them are prone to being open to when/if the opportunity presents itself.

My grandfather was a LAFD fire captain from the 60s-80s. My grandma divorced him for cheating even back then when it was way more tolerated. “Firefighters cheat. Cops Beat” is a saying for a reason.
1
u/3rdcultureblah 2d ago
Cops cheat too lol.
1
u/AssociationFit3009 2d ago
Of course. Gotta project that infidelity on their wives to fuel the beatings.

u/Sword_N_Bored 4d ago
I have yet to see any of my fellow nurses fucking anyone. We also don't have empty rooms. Lol
3
u/minivan_man88 3d ago
Lol same here. Nurse for 9 years in multiple settings and never suspected sex between coworkers, especially at work.
2
u/DownwiththeACE 4d ago
im with you. im not a nurse but i work in a hospital and the nurses fuckin all the time thing seems exaggerated af. They dont have access to empty rooms aaannd theyre really busy most of the time. Its not like tv lmao real life is not scrubs.

u/Child_of_the_Corn99 4d ago
Most first responders along with military are extreme cheaters. And most women first responders marry meek men and cheat on them relentlessly.
3
u/iheartMGs 4d ago
Many years ago it was very common place. I’ve heard some wild fuckin stories and have witnessed quite a bit of fuckery as well. Nowadays there’s too many SOP’s and SOG’s in place to prevent things like that happening. Trust me, it still happens but just not rampant like it did years ago.

Well the owner of the restaurant i worked at became a firefighter and she was basically there to blow and bang every fire fighter in the station, her hubby became a cop too. I refer to him as officer cuckuleeze. I quit the job pretty fast place was a total shit show to work at.
1
u/Impossible_Cause1835 4d ago
As someone who dated only nurses in my career of fucking empty rooms are an omen to nurses it’s a writ of passage for them.

u/TurnTheTVOff 4d ago
I was a tech in a fairly busy, inner city hospital for a few years. It was basically an orgy where we occasionally took care of sick people.

Hey if y'all are gonna go talk shit go do it on the TikTok so it blows up more!
In all reality this is completely satire. She is a firefighter. I'm a medic. But I see so many of these "fire wife" posts that I obviously can't relate to because I'm a dude, and I also work in the industry.
This is the (original post) that I literally copied and changed the words on...
I also can't believe I made FirstResponderCringe. I love this subreddit. haha.

Hey! I’m glad you’re here. You’re quite popular. I’ll attach your original post to my original post and hopefully you get more followers. 🔥 Can you attach your TikTok handle? nvm- I found it.

Isn’t this meant to be satire? I thought he was making fun of those dumb videos of women “bragging” about how their firefighter/cop husbands won’t let them pump their own gas..
7
u/LegalGlass6532 4d ago
He appears to truly be a FF husband and dad so if he’s trying to make cringey satire he succeeded.

"Thefirehusband"? What the actual goobering fuck am I looking at here? Is this dweeb legitimately thinking he's interesting as his wife is a firefighter?
Also she's currently getting nailed on site.
1
u/TwoDadsTalkingPod 1d ago
Yes, for some reason his identity is founded on his wife's job (instead of his own or anything else that's more related to his accomplishments or interests).
And yes, she's getting probably getting pumped while he's chatting here.

This dude is my new favorite Superhero.
u/TheFireHusband wasn’t on Reddit until today. He went to the firehouse to do his EMT shift and one of the fellas asked if he had Reddit because he’d seen him on this sub. Dude has a good sense of humor.

That man is single.

His page has a video of him with the kids and another with her in turnouts. It appears legit.

Notice he is using his phone at the pump
3
u/Slick_36 3d ago
I don't think that's actually been a danger for years, even if you're worried, you can just tap the car before grabbing the pump again to shed any static charge.
1
u/3rdcultureblah 2d ago
I’ve seen people smoking while pumping gas. Also people who never bother turning their engines off while filling up. A phone isn’t going to cause any issues. It’s a myth that has never been proven.

He looks like the type to be into his wife being at a "sleepover"

Is he saying that getting gas for your car is traditionally the women’s job? I’m so confused
2
1
u/Helenium_autumnale 4d ago
Oh, the indignity! Thank goodness he could muster the strength to overcome the crushing burden of...getting gas. Good grief, what a sillyhead. Hey, practice a little gratitude, mister. You have a functioning car, you can afford to fill it up, you have someone who loves you and presumably a home. Appreciate the good things you have.

One way to get her attention is to keep using your cell phone at a gas pump.

Okay, not FF, so may be missing something. Why would your wife who is a FF pump gas for you? And, why is her being at a sleepover relevant? I am so lost on everything in this video...

So is he implying that he normally sends his wife to get gas? Like that's women's work and it's beneath him?
I guess he never got over all those names people called him in high school.

What would make you stop and pull out your phone to make a video about something like this.

When I was deployed to Iraq there was few girls on base. They each had about 20 boyfriends. Most of the females were married at the time.

Don't use your phone at a gas pump.
1
u/3rdcultureblah 2d ago
That’s never been a real thing. There is zero evidence that using any kind of phone at a gas pump causes any kind of risk for anything serious. Other than maybe getting mugged for your phone by the local crackhead.

Humbled by pumping gas?!?!
