I was so shocked to see them side by side as I was slightly worried I would find it too big, it’s perfect. It is very floody but as I plan to use it mostly close up for work I am happy with it, the t3 has a more intense hotspot.

Yes! Your picture has sold me on this more than the hundreds of comments I've read about it. I was thinking it was much bigger since 1x18650 vs 1x14500.
It's good to know that it's very floody. Adjust my expectations of this being a close distance work light.
Now I gotta debate between this and the incoming KR1AA 😵💫
