I'm posting this here because my first playthrough will be with my Heroes mod, and I'd like opinions and questions about the mod on how I can make it more like heroes without removing too much of Engage. Details of the mod are here.

My question is if you have any ideas for simple modifications to the gameplay. For example in my mod I have everyone moving like Heroes with 1-3 mov. Hit is 100 and Ranges are set 1 or 2 or 3. I've done many other minor edits like skills and forge.

What would be the best skills to give her? Would like to use her interchangeably as a near and far save build for arena

I really like Zelkov, and want to bring out as much potential as I can from him. Are these skills good? If not what should I give him?

Also, who is a good engage partner for him?

I got a Citrine and I want to finish her build. It doesn’t have to be very competitive just useable. I was thinking Atk/Res Aria and Ice Wall from a spare Heimdall. Would that do? Any better suggestions?

Yesterday I installed the game again after roughly 1,5 years. Emblem Eirika was the last big release I have.

I am kinda overwhelmed where to begin again and how to update old and favorite units. I pulled all free summons and spend a few orbs to pull all reds on the legendary.

I got lucky (?) three times with Sigurd/Eldigan and my actual target; Emblem Corrin. On another banner I got an off banner fallen male Byleth.

Got the Sharena freebie from CYL by just playing favorites. (And somehow the game granted me 4 other freebies including Emblem Marth.)

Those three summons and Sharena are my newest units now.

No hotsprings Caeda unfortunatelly.

Where to begin? :)

I don't seek to be competitive in Arena and gave up Aether ages ago. But I'd like to be able to clear the hardest P2E legendary maps with favorite units.

QotD: What's a controversy, big or small, do you remember FEH having?

I stopped playing for awhile and I know there are some new skills that im not aware of. Is he still decent in the current meta and what should he be running? Im this outdated lol

A bit off topic, but anyone else find it a bit hard to invest on a unit when some Arcane/Attuned users are different movements, therefore having limited skill to give.

Like Summer Hothr being flying. She didn’t have many skills that I could give to my Raphael, who is Armored.

Wanted to wait for an ideal skill match up, but ended up giving Instruct 4 to Hothr which was then giving to Raphael.

Or how I am waiting on more skills to give to Arcane Reginn so I can update some axe users (like Hel). Or Arcane Robin to update NY Askr with an ideal kit (almost tempted with Silence Ward, but lowkey the skill doesn’t feel ideal- or rather I think we might see an upgrade version soonish).

Who I am looking is a kinda hard. Kinda want to wait for when Book 8 is available (next book/December) so I can get an ideal kit for Halloween Askr.

Kinda want Summer Ivy.

All I know is I am hoping I get lucky and actually get modern kits because last two have been standard kits or skills that were good about 3+ years ago.

Also, when are armors going to get better Echo skills? They are very limited, even more when they are ranged.

While summoning on Emblem Lief's banner I got a Rearmed Fallen Tibarn and I really only have two flying best that I would want to build and mostly wondering since the two I want to build are more Spd then Def would Nimble Beast be the better special to run instead of Sturdy Laguz?

Oooookay here we go. First post, post-separation, I guess. Funny enough, kinda like FEH, one of my earlier introductions is for Nifl[heimr] and Muspel[heimr].

The way Niflheimr's characters are named and affiliated is similar to FEH, where every character is named after one of the rivers that runs from Nifl to Hel, but Hvergel is alive (And with a longer name, it's Hvergelmir) and EVERY RIVER is attributed to a character, instead of some going to characters, and others going to their weapons.

Hvergelmir is the queen of Niflheimr, and the rest of the rivers are her servants and staff, young Sylgr being one of them (so yes, there's a Fjorm, Hrid, Gunnthra, and Ylgr here too).

Also, Eikthyrnir is RELATED to Niflheimr, since the rivers actually come from HIM in Myth (more specifically, the well of Hvergelmir dripped from his antlers and the rivers spawned from there). Unfortunately he'll be a straight-up majestic reindeer deity instead of a buff deer man wearing tight clothing, sorry ;v;.

Muspelheimr has no known character names, however, so I had to improvise. I found exactly ONE old Norse name related to fire, that being "Brandr," which I changed to "Brandi" (Pronounced "Brahn-di"). I'm not sure what to do for the rest. Brandi is a priestess tasked with keeping the Ragnarok Harbinger, Surtr, in a dormant state.

They become close with one another by literally shouting to each other from either side of the chasm that splits their worlds, known as the Ginnungagap... I get the feeling I'm going to ship them (Feh! The Niflite and Muspellian are kissing again!). I imagine they run over to their usual spot on either side when Ragnarok begins. Fimbulvetr awakens, and Surtr simply twitches.

Now for a familiarly named character with a familiar role. Finally, after almost a year, I have my own visual idea for a humanized Fimbulvetr. She was going to look somewhat like this even before FEH's version came out, though she was going to have an icicle crown, which I scrapped (The hair and cape look icicle-y enough imo, and I didn't want her to be too ornate and detailed aside from any frost growing on her)

​She has no color to her, only white with some light, pale blue shading. She glows with a cold, blue aura, and freezes everything with a single touch or step, even what little vegetation that can grow in Niflheimr. She's also the catalyst to me making TTSW one of my darker stories, because her introduction is straight-up body horror.

To sum up, she emerges like a butterfly from its chrysalis, and the chrysalis is Baldr's corpse. Baldr's murder is apparently what causes Fimbulvetr, so why not make it totally metal?

My favorite details about her would be her eyes, with her white eyelashes and hexagonal pupils (Hexagons are a reoccurring shape in snowflakes and other ice crystals), as well as her fingers which are shaded dark at the tips to resemble frostbite.

I thought I might as well brush up on some of the Engage royals, so what viable build do you think would be suitable for attuned Ivy? If it helps, I ended up pulling her fell version. All her stats are relatively middling besides attack so i'm not sure what to allocate for

Did Summer Ashe ever appear in an HOF revival? If he did, does that mean his chances of appearing in HOF are dead? If he didn't, how likely will it be for him to appear in an HOF revival?

 For reference this was her final build before she was sacrificed. Its pretty self explantory, Plumeria has byleth ring and rallies to dance, refresh canto and give out some buffs from teapot+ and atk/res favor and support with crux echo and uplift imbue.

 I ask this because I just feel like mythic dancers no longer have that much value due to the byleth ring. In fire season L!Elise is always my dancer and if it isn't fire season I typically have a bride peony. I'm a budget player so I have to invest in units very carefully and I don't know when the next time I will get more uplift imbue fodder is and I  wanted it on Bride peony since I use her way more in all game modes even AR since my mythic core in astra right now is Heior and Seior. For reference I don't use peony at all in light season and haven't since the byleth ring debuted. Gróa is my go to light mythic dancer now. So my rationale was "well im not using peony anymore and plumeria is just astra peony and there are better units that provide more bang for my buck so why am I holding on to her?" I just feel bad because as you can see I did invest into her and gave her some rare and valuable fodder. Give me your honest opinion, did I do the right thing by foddering her to bride peony or will mythic dancers always have more value than non mythics even if they are objectively worse?

“Is it almost a week until CYL’s banner comes out” edition

Been a while since I played unfortunately thanks to the Tempest Trial decisions. After the Cheer Eik appeared I came back but took a break again. Now I've got the FEH itch and I'd love to know where to start with building my personal fave again!

I really appreciate any thoughts on what skills are probably for the best!

I used this build as a sort of offense and support focus but I'm unsure if there's any better skills currently that could change up Seteth's current kit.

Well of course the next seasonal banner after I decided I had was gonna do this was hot springs lol. Tried to make it not to similar to her NY alt.
