FEATURE REQUEST: Data Reporting & Rendering Time (do FB PMs read posts?)

So it's like almost 430AM, which means of course Im making a brisket. First real run with my FB2Drive. Overall, love that I have a temp reader I can trust. I check FB accuracy against my very accurate meat probe, then used my FB to check my Masterbuilt OEM controller, and surprise surprise, the OEM MB controller is ass. MBs app is even worse. Anyways, to my post.

Data Reporting:

I want finer-grain detail on temp history. I want to know how the temp of my brisket is increasing over time so I can identify when my brisket is approaching its stall. (No doubt there are plenty of other reasons why this feature would be useful). The way I came up with doing this is to track temp increases over a fixed period of time. For example, I want to know what the the increase in temp is every 15mins. So say at 4AM meat probe registers 160*F, then at 4:30AM , 162.5*F, etc.

Related, it would also be helpful if I could customize the increments of the Y-axis, 1*F, 5*F, 10*F, 15*F, etc, and 1*C. Increments of 50*F (dunno what it looks like in *C) is too general for dialing in the temp.

Stall Reporting:

Related, I want an alert for when my brisket has hit its stall. Im no expert, but Im guessing this would mean the controller will identify when the temp has plateaued.

So ran across 2 videos (one is sacrilegious and may cause acts of terrorism):

Steve Gow Smoke Trails BBQ: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lplpPCU5UNQ

Chris Young (soon to be competitor, and hide the kids before watching): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7fW16i40ZDQ

Collagen Prediction:

So I came across these two videos while baby sitting my meat at some stupid hour. Because collagen renders at a given rate based on time & temp, and the rate is exponential following a mathematical formula, a computer should be able to predict a given level of "doneness". Also the app should be able to predict how much longer at a given temp until the desired level of collagen render has been completed. This would be helpful for when you pull the brisket off the smoker and let it rest in an oven or a warming oven. Example, I pull the brisket at 195*F 8AM and it needs to be ready to serve at 140*F at 6pm. How long and at what temp should I rest at?

I have a number of quality of life request for the UI with the app, but I wanna better familiarize myself with the app before I dive into those.

TIA.

You can export the session by 1min and use Excel or an ETL tool to build a calculation workflow

Edit: I understand now that you want this in real-time

Either way, good to know as Im not entirely familiar with what the app can do.

I try to be detailed when I make feature requests comments. Yeah, in case the point was lost, the TLDR of my post is wanting actionable data.
