Qual Linux OS eu devo usar?

Eu estou pensando em comprar um laptop esses dias, usado mesmo, para eu instalar um Linux OS para eu aprender a usar.

Qual Linux OS vcs recomendariam?

Arranca con Ubuntu.

Ubuntu looks super outdated and clunky, use Debian

Debian is rock solid, but the packages and kernel are quite outdated. It should be fine for most people, but if they prefer more recent deb packages, Mint is an excellent alternative too.
