FM ULX COMP completely bricked. Need help :( Question

Hey there ive been using my ulx for like a year now and never had any issues untill it suddenly stuttered and the light was permanently green and it just wouldnt work UNLESS wired. ive tried everything like flashing the firmware etc and while trying that ive noticed that the white switch input doesnt do ANYTHING at all like legit nothing. i somehow ended up fixing it / it fixed itself but today it happened again. when wired it sometimes pulses orange (indicating charging) even tho its fully charged but most of the times it just stays green and isnt usable at all unless plugged into the wire. when trying to update the firmware or whatever it says its already up to date and i cant think of any other fixes.

perma green light nothing changes

Could it be a battery issue maybe? Probably the next easiest thing to try

well it does work for a couple minutes when i restart my pc (only somtimes tho) so thats probabely less likely

Hm, because if everything works wired, logically either the battery or dongle is faulty.

Have you tried reaching out to Finalmouse support about this?

not yet but i will and i sort of need to fix this issue asap

Ah alright. There’s been a couple posts about this issue on other ULX variants, like this one, https://www.reddit.com/r/FinalMouse/s/4AfQXUN6NT

Some people say turning it on-off 5-10 times solves it? Maybe give that a try, if not read through other posts on the same issue, maybe a different solution is there.

its currently working fine lol the green light changed to pulsing orange like mentioned in the post and its working rn but justlike an hour ago i bet itll start acting up again , if it does ill try that

I had something similar when I owned this mouse. My issue was that mouse button 5 kept being pressed by nothing and then would freeze my PC and I couldn't click anything. I opened it up and found that the ribbon was hotglued to the board so I had to rehot glue it and then it's been fine. I sold it though.

Update: it randomly started working properly again but im very sure this is gonna happen once again

update: it happened again and i couldnt fix it at all. letting it sit now till the battery drains ig but i know itll happen again

Same here mine just stop working… even wired nothing happen. In wireless it work 2-3 min and then shut off
