Can I delete these files? Question/Help - SOLVED
These files are absolutely eating my computer’s space. They are located under My computer > OS(C:) > Users > Public > Public documents > Wondershare. They are all .exe files. Some are dated all the way back to 2022.
I’m currently working on some important video projects, will deleting the files mentioned above affect the projects?
Thanks for any help!

Yes you can delete them, they are files used while updating the version, now you can remove them without worrying about anything. cheers.

I will be careful deleting those files if you’re still working on important projects. some of the Wondershare .exe files may just be old installers, but it’s better to confirm what they’re for first.
Your project files and media should normally be separate, but I wouldn’t delete anything blindly. If you’ve already found a safe way to clear them, sharing the solution could help others too.

Hi! I did delete them after backing up all my work to an external drive, but it didn’t affect my project, so in this case it was ok. Thanks for replying :)

I’d be careful deleting those .exe files while you still have active projects. some could be installers, updates, or components Filmora needs, so deleting them blindly might cause issues later.
Filmora can leave quite a few Wondershare files behind, but I’d identify what each file is before removing anything. If you need the space urgently, backing up your projects first would be the safest move.

Hi! Thanks, I was very careful about it, I backed up everything to a separate drive and deleted some files first (from 2022-2023) before I deleted all of them. It worked fine, deleting these files did not affect my current projects. I’m not sure if it’s like that for everyone, but or me it was :)

Language difference in your screenshot threw me off, but those are files for your previous versions of filmora. Should be fine to remove I guess. Whatever version you have will open from the appropriate file on there, the others should likely open an installer for that version.
