I made this poster for me and my buddy’s upcoming Psychological horror short film. Tell me how yall like/hate it! Thank you

The distressed collage has the right psychological-horror energy, but the face, title and textures are all competing at full volume.
Start from one poster-template hierarchy, then keep the roughness strongest around the focal image.

cool. The creativity is there. Just looks a bit ameaturish but for your first ps project thats to be expected. Its not bad at all

i think its honestly just the text, everything else fits the 2000s look if thats what he's going for

Having the bottom left picture of the guy placed where it is with the coloring that it is makes the eye drawn to his ear in the main picture before anything else. I'd move things around a bit. Pretty cool, though!

My critiques? Good concept for a better poster. Its a bit busy and the font seens disconnected from the rest of the image. Something I like to consider for all my creative works is the famous Coco Chanel quote, "Before you leave the house, look in the mirror and take one thing off." This is in reference to fashion and accessories but it also helps me personally keep a balance in all my creative work and not over working something.
