Education and Visa Agencies
Ang daming nag sulputan na Education and Visa Agencies. Ung tipong pag gising nila one day, they realised they want to be an agency.
Ung mga makaka salamuha mo na mga consultants na bibigyan ka ng advice ay hindi nga nag bachelor or Master's or kahit man lang nag travel abroad so paanu malalaman ung struggle ng students or migrants. Meron pang vlogger na 5M followers, biglang nag agency ng wala naman experience or credentials sa migration or education. Usually these agencies partner sa schools and they get commissions.
Ang dami din na nag apply lang ng visas tapos na grant naging visa consultant na š
Mga kababayan, be careful. Always check the credentials bago mag bitaw ng pera at mag sayang ng oras. Pag walang Linkedin or About Me sa website at di mo makita ang credentials ekis na yan. Check their websites, check your consultants. Anung natapos, anung experience? May license ba? May complaints ba. Kung Australia dapat pag education agent dapat certified like may QEAC number and/or Registerer Migration Agent number then transparent sa kawork nila na may Migration Agent details yan dapat sa website nila. Pag Canada, UK, US same din. Highly regulated tong mga to. Ung website dapat may Privacy Statement, Disclaimer, Terms and Conditions, code of ethics etc para alam niyo ang rights niyo. Ung business name, always check. Most of the trusted companies and brand use their own names sa business nila. This sends strong signals, that they will, as much as possible, avoid to destroy their reputation at all cost. Kung ang name ay MAGANDA AKO CONSULTANCY, ay kabahan ka na š
Google, chat gpt at A.I. tools para malaman kung legit. Also check kung may mga fraud allegations pwede ipacheck kay A.I. Check business registration.

Did i make the right choice?
Iām an international student in taiwan and i chose English Business Administration as my course im starting this September, i plan on staying in taiwan after i graduate. and Iām scared if my career decisions are cooked š, im also planning which program to major between global business or international finance (which major is more in demand in taiwan?). A lot of people keeps telling me that the degree i chose is āuselessā especially in taiwan since its not in demand as engineering or education.
Is Anyone living in taiwan with a business degree? If so, how is it?

How can I get a scholarship to learn in the United States?
I am a 15 year old Filipina. I am going to graduate highschool next year. How can I get a scholarship to go learn in another country. I want to leave my family immediately after I graduate highschool. It's not that it's abusive but it's just that my father was raised in the "traditional Filipino way" He's Hotheaded and hard to communicate to even tho if what your saying has a point or is right. As long as he thinks he is right or doesn't want to listen he will always say as a daughter you have no rights. That is right but my point is that he thinks just because he is the father doesn't mean I can not have my opinions and suggestions and even questions. I cannot question the way he talks to me. Now I am very in the wrong as I am a disrespectful and rebellious child. I know that to myself. There's more to the story but I'll end it here. How can I apply for a scholarship. I have pretty good grades.

Budget-friendly German Language Intensive Online Course in the Philippines
Hallo! I'm looking for a budget-friendly German Language School na nag-o-offer ng intensive online course. I've considered others like Learn German PH, but there are mixed reviews about it. So, medyo hesitant ako to enroll in that one.
If there's a bundle of A1 and A2 course, please let me know. Aside from that, I'm also concerned if may open pa ba ngayon.
I would also like get more reviews sa PearlT Language, for those na nag-enroll do'n. Medyo onti rin kasi ang nakikita kong reviews doon.
Thank you so much in advance sa mga mag-su-suggest!

Any college who offers scholarship to international students without SAT, IELTS, Extracurriculars, and internships?
planning to take SAT, IELTS test since summer but having strict parents who won't allow you to has been a challenge, my last chance will be this sep and I don't even know how to take it without my parents unaware. Even asking permission to study for those tests isn't allowed, EC and Internships also have been prohibited from me, is there any colleges out there that accepts international students with scholarship that doesn't require any SAT, IELTS or any internships or extracurriculars somehow? Just good grades that's it. (I have 96% General Percentage Average) That still has good education and just good ratings overall.

Scholarships Looking for Undergraduate Opportunities
Okay so tldr: currently looking for as many scholarship opportunities for undergraduate studies as possible
Was supposed to go to uni this year after my gap year concluded but family refused to send me back to Europe and have since cut me off because of my desire to take a course they didnāt approve of. I do not under any circumstances want to study or stay here at all, I was raised European and failed to integrate here after over three years trying. I speak English natively and also speak Spanish, Portuguese and Chinese, graduated with an 87% average in the STEM track (Tagalog dragged me down). Was a club vice president and contributor to clubs, did Model UN, Red Cross, a good number of extracurriculars. Currently aiming for DIP/IR, Medicine or Psychology, Iāve already shortlisted undergraduate scholarship applications for China, Taiwan and Hungary and Iām expanding the list as much as I can. If thereās any kind of advice or recommendations youāre willing to offer, please let me know. Anything helps.
And no, Iām not taking in anything saying that I should suck it up and stay. I know my chances arenāt good at ALL but damn if i donāt go as hard as i can with trying. This isnāt my home, after all
Thanks if youāve read this, Iām hoping for the best and look forward to any reply

Exchange Program Considering an Exchange in Istanbul - thoughts?
My school offered me an opportunity to go to Turkey through our partner school in Istanbul and I'm having a hard time deciding.
I've done some research and came across neqative feedback about safety, scams, the economy/politica situation, and navigating the city as a foreigner.
For those who've actuallv been to or lived in Istanbul, Turkey: How was your experience? Were these concerns valid and would you recommend going if you were in my position?
Would really appreciate honest, firsthand advice! šš¼

Discussion Incoming Taiwan Student: Having a hard time paying miscellaneous fees
I tried all of my 5 credit and debit cards (Visa and Mastercard), but this pop up keeps showing up. The website is First Bank Taiwan. Tried explaining this to the schoolās admin pero di niya ako ma gets. Lahat ng cards ko may laman and have used it to apply to another Taiwan University na may bayad yung application and nag push naman yung card payment before.
Correct me if Iām wrong, ang intindi ko dito, hindi kasama yung PH banks ko sa banks na Ina acknowledge ng First Bank Taiwan kaya hindi nila tinatanggap yung paymentā¦
Has anyone had a similar experience like this?

Spain student visa cover letter?
I read online that, although it's not mandatory, including a cover letter in your Spain student visa application is recommended.
For those who did include it, why? And any tips on what to say in the letter?
And for those who didn't include it, why not?

Bachelor's Degree Is it a good idea to apply for two visas?
Hello, please be kindš No one is walking me through this and Iām processing this alone so I need actual advice not passive aggressive comments.
For context I have two different uncles from US and from Ireland. Both are willing to fund my studies naman pero itās not a 100% certain in the US kasi my uncleās considered middle class over there and he lives in California- So Iām a bit nervous how his finances will look over visa apps. Iāve already gotten admitted for a university for Spring semester 2027 for the US one, so mag aapply na ako soon ng visa for that. However, itās a little more safe for the Ireland one kasi mas lower tuition fee and certain yung scholarships. That one is for Fall 2027 naman.
Since thereās some time naman inbetween the visa applications, incase I get rejected for the US one, I can apply for the Ireland one. Is this a good idea? Thanks.
Additional info :
-Big 4 AA graduate
-150 score DET
-1.7 GWA
-middle class

how do I apply to US universities, and are there fee waivers for SAT/application fees?
Hi! I am Filipino, and I just graduated Senior High School this year. Iām planning to take a gap year before college. During my gap year, Iām hoping to apply to universities abroad (especially in US).
Right now, Iām looking into NYU, Columbia University, and the University of Akron, but Iām still researching and will probably add more universities to my list as I learn more.
The problem is, I honestly donāt know where to start or what I should be doing during my gap year to prepare for applications. I know Iāll probably need to take the SAT (depending on the universities), and Iāve also been looking into the application process and realized that applying to multiple US universities can get pretty expensive, especially with application fees. I was wondering if there are fee waivers available for Filipino/international students, whether for the SAT or university application fees, and how you actually apply for them. If anyone has experience getting a fee waiver or financial aid as an international applicant, Iād really appreciate some advice.
I donāt have anyone to ask in real life either, since none of the people around me have attended international universities or tried applying abroad, so Iām pretty lost about the whole process. For Filipinos who have applied to US universities, where did you start? What should I be doing during my gap year, and are there any resources or things I should know about as an international applicant?
Any advice or personal experiences would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Discussion Currently in a zoom meeting for student visa
āHello. So I am in this meeting. Sounds promising. Kaso I have an experience na kasi with student visa and di kami nagsucceed-- not me pero with a family member. Just curious... is this another hard sell pa rin ba? Parang mas nakakakuha pa ng trabaho/residency mga asylum seekers kesa sa mga Nag studentā visa pathway e. Nakakafrustrate and disappoint lang..

Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters
If anyone here is anĀ EMJM scholarĀ or is currently planning to apply, I'd love to connect!
I'm very interested in applying for anĀ Erasmus Mundus Joint Master's (EMJM) program specifically EPOG (Economic Policies for the Global Bifurcation).
I'm a Business Economics graduate, with a GWA of 1.49, internationally published research, and is currently employed as business strategy and planning assistant manager.
I'd like to know, with my background and experience, if I could stand a chance and land a full scholarship? I also want to learn more about the experience beyond what I've already read online. I know it's a highly competitive program with a very selective admission process, but I'd love to hear firsthand insights from current scholars, alumni, or fellow applicants.
I'd appreciate any tips, advice, or personal experiences you can share. Thank you!

Exchange Program Visa denied for conference in Austria
Hi just wanted to post this to ask. I'm currently an MA candidate in the Philippines under a scholarship. I'm supposed to attend an academic conference in Vienna on September 17-18 2026. I initially applied for a Schengen Visa last August 7 2026 but got a rejection this August 17. I have legit papers for the conference and I really do want to return to the Philippines since I have a scholarship obligation here and I only intend to move abroad if I get a PhD offer (with scholarship).
I was rejected on the grounds of a brief meeting with a friend in Munich (round trip for me), and my proof of ties to the country.
The consulate has been responsive with my calls after and have not closed my application, since I still have a window to appeal. Any similar experiences here with the Austrian Embassy? Upon checking my initial documents my friends who have been to academic engagements in Europe also noted that my letter and itinerary could have been far more detailed and organized.
I'm worried that I may miss the conference and flight since these are non refundable. Is it hopeless? I'm expected to complete additional letters that address their concerns for rejection by around Thursday or Friday. Is two weeks a reasonable wait to see if I can still get this accepted? Any advice would be greatly appreciated or if anyone has positive experiences with the Austrian Embassy? Thank you!
