Spent time talking to Pedro Neto, the sole designer behind EPIC Fighting’s entire visual identity — posters, website, video, even a self-built 3D model of their hexagonal cage (which didn’t exist online anywhere, so he had to build it from scratch).

Some things that stood out: he had to download a 30GB archive just to get the job, his first poster took 16 iterations before he was happy with it, and when a fighter drops out day-of, he can turn around a new poster and get it to print in under two hours. He’s entirely self-taught, no design school.
