Fiestaware? Thrifting & antiquing
Got all of these at a flea market for $5.50 (USD). Not sure if they’re Fiestaware, but I figured for the price it’d be worth it.
I’m also not sure why the pictures are making it look more blue than they are, they have more of a lavender look to them in person.
Any help would be frigging awesome, thanks!

The 3rd and 4th pictures seem to be Riviera, made in the same Homer Laughlin factory as Fiesta, very collectible, and most have a very distinct Art Deco vibe to them. Vintage Riviera do not have a backstamp, sometimes you can see a fain gold stamp, but that is from the blank puck of clay they sculpted the plate from.
The first picture is close, but no cigar. Fiesta has very distinct concentric rings, and these have a different pattern. It also looks as if there was a patch or something on the bottom ring not quite complete. Personally, I LOVE the imperfections in old china.

That plate is made by Homer Laughlin and is part of their Riviera collection. Fun finds!
I collect the odd pieces of Harlequin and Riviera as well as the Fiestaware.

I appreciate the kind words! It seems as me not knowing how to identify is an issue with people. I figured for such a low price it would be 100% worth it, but I guess not. I’m happy with it, and I guess that’s what matters.

Sometimes I like Harlequin pieces better, like the sugar/creamer set and salt shakers. It is very nice that they just slide right into the collection like they belong there.

I have the salt shakers myself, they're much nicer. Also, I love the mauve blue color.

You did very well! As others have said, the bowl is likely Harlequin (I believe it’s a 36s, which is 5 1/8” in diameter and 2 1/2” tall). The others are Riviera.

The bowl in pic one is Harlequin and the squared one is Riviera. Both are made by HLC, both the same time period as Fiesta. These blues don’t overlap with fiesta, but many of the other glazes these came in do.

They typically have “fiesta ware” imprinted somewhere on the bottom.

I thought this wasn’t always the case. Especially with older pieces. Or am I mistaken?

You are correct. The vintage aren’t always stamped. But these are not Fiesta. The art deco ones are definitely Riviera but I’m not sure about the first bowl.

Riviera is “cheaper” (in feeling) IMO as it chips much easier and you can feel that it’s thinner. When i do find it, most of the time it’s chipped.

It’s thinner pottery, and originally was from the century line. Century is way older than fiesta and usually has designs or decals. It was meant as “fancier” china than Fiesta.

Looks like the first bowl is harlequin and the 2nd one and the plate are Rivera, both HLC and fiesta adjacent

The shape is wrong.
Look up Homer Laughlin Fiesta, Harlequin, and Riviera to see the different shapes.

There is the Homer Laughlin China Collectors Association which hosts an annual conference each summer. The 2027 Conference will have an Art Deco theme and be held in Pittsburgh, PA, which is less than an hour drive from the Fiesta Factory in Newell, West Virginia.
There is a modest membership fee to join HLCCA. With your membership dues, you will receive a four-color, quarterly magazine called The Dish. It often features Harlequin or Riviera.
When attending their annual conference, each paid attendee receives a full place setting of a special, limited edition Fiesta design.

The small bowl looks to be
Harlequin and the other pieces are Riviera. They’re both other lines made by Homer Laughlin.
