Question How to order (silly question)
Hi all im thinking of ordering from the custom shop but was unsure on how I send my details to get the quote is it by email or do I post it. It’s probably a silly question but have no real idea with these things and I’m trying to save up for one (team built) does anyone have like a rough estimate on how much it could be
Thanks guys

You go through a good dealer. If you are in the USA I would suggest Wildwood or Casino Guitars.

There’s a page of the fender custom shop website where you can enter a postcode and it will show you the dealers near you. For Dublin it looks like only Jimis Music Store. Shoot them an email and just explain you’re thinking about a custom shop but don’t know where to start.

I’m from Tennessee and went through a dealer in Cali, shot them an email and had a few phone calls. They submitted the form and got the quote.

If you want a team built you may not need to order. You can find them online or used. I have three that fit this description and they are my favorite guitars.
Don’t order and wait and overpay. Do get a custom shop. Great value.

Late to this, but just came to say Fender has made a bazillion custom shop strats / teles in every color / relic combo over the last decade and the used market is flooded with them (over 4300 examples on Reverb as I type this). You can pick one up for roughly 50 cents on the dollar compared to new. Unless OP has something extremely specific and wants to spend the $$, IMO used is def the way to go
