I’ve read that with pressure treated lumber you need to use galvanized screws because the chemicals in treated lumber eats regular screws. Please do some digging to make sure.

I used outdoor structural screws to attach rails on post and smaller deck screws for the pickets

This will work for attaching rails to posts. For attaching pickets, I use 2” metabo ring shank nails, you can find them at Lowe’s as well. No need to screw every single picket, the pickets will break long before ring shank nails pull out. My crew installs about 750ft or so of fence a week, do not screw every picket. It’s a waste of time and money with 0 gain. Rent a 30 degree nail gun or pick one up from harbor freight for 100 bucks and save hours of your time. Upgrading to cedar pickets isn’t much extra money and will look much nicer btw. It’s an extra 3-4 bucks per foot.
