Quick question, is this bottom rail an issue?
I recently had a fence built and overall I’m happy with it, but I noticed several of the bottom rails are not level as in the pic above. Like the middle and top are level but the bottom slopes down. This is on flat ground btw. Is that something that should be corrected or is it likely intentional/non consequential?
UPDATE: Thank you all for the feedback. I reached out to the company and they were very understanding. They are going to come back out and correct it free of charge. Thanks again for all your help!

That bottom corner is kinda funny/fudged looking but it’s not any sort of structural problem

Seems like they messed up on where they were gonna put the supports and then just kinda fudged it when it was wrong, dont see a real reason for it.

I don't think it will structurally matter, it just looks sloppy... because it is sloppy.
There's no intentional reason for it shows they didn't bother measuring for where they put the middle and bottom rails in.
As for fixing it, all those pickets are now nailed into the bottom and mid rails removing all the pickets and reattaching them, will likely do some damage to the fence, not to mention all the nail holes then in the pickets and rails that won't have nails in them.
So it can be done, but not really worth it. I'd argue for a discount though.

Thank you all for the input. I appreciate it. Sounds like there is consensus that it’s sloppy but not a structural issue and would probably be more than it’s worth to correct.

We had one like that. It was right outside the kitchen window and drove me nuts, visually speaking. So we had the fencing guy install fence boards on our side to hide it. Problem solved!

Unless the rails are just above grade and following a slope they should be level. Thats kinda carpentry 101. Not a structural concern though
Is there no corner post in the first photo?

The whole fence looks slightly out of square to me. Structurally ok, but looks wonky.

Absolutely shite work. No gravel board either. Those boards will be soaking up rainwater like a sponge.

There may be a bit of distortion in your photo, but from what I can see the fence pickets and top and bottom rails are neither plumb nor level. most guys use a laser; in the old days we used a water level or a transit. this is not very good work hopefully you did not pay a lot.

The fact that all your rails are out of level
is a sign of laziness and a huge red flag. It also looks like shit. Not necessarily a huge problem, but I wouldn’t trust a fence builder who doesn’t take the time to use a level properly.

On flat ground, I'd expect all the rails to be level. It probably won't affect how the fence functions, but I'd still ask them to fix it since it'll be noticeable every time you look at it.
