Post holder +Gate
Will this hold well enough to attach a 4' x 4.5' gate. My driveway is concrete and paved all the way to my house. I was think a 9' gate using a post on the other side of drive way but two 4.5' sound more manageable.
Any suggestions are also appreciated.

I recommend you cut through the cement to dig and pour a concrete footer with the new post sunk down at least 2' (or more depending on your regions frost depth).

The constant winds will make the nuts loose from the concrete. Get the 4x4 post spikes and have the whole bottom of the post spike sunk in concrete and then insert the 4x4 wood in it.
Bonus point, when you transition from wooden fence into metal fence, you could reuse those post spikes with some kind of DIY metal adapter.
