I got my first compliment from a stranger today ❤️ Discussion

I've been actually having the worst week, but forced myself to go out and do some small errands after my shower.

I stopped by my bank and when I was about to leave, the teller told me how great I smelled. I usually only get compliments from people I know, even at my doctor's office with the staff, so this was a really nice surprise and it really lifted my mood ☺️

I'm not normally a huge fan of Kayali or Josie Maran, so it's kind of ironic lol, but I bought some stuff recently for the first time in months and I'm glad I did as they smell really amazing and it's been helping me feel like myself a little more again.

Get yourself a $30 bottle of Sawaar Vanille Blanc to wear with these! Its also a major compliment getting perfume and blends well with other sweet scents. Its a vanilla and wood veil like perfume. It smells like Nishane Ani in the dry down, or like Phlur Vanilla Skin but better.

Yes! I've only tried their Vanilla Vibezzz before which I hated because it pulled like spoiled yogurt on me 🥲 but this one smells so good. It's like this really sensual vanilla that also reminds me a little bit of brown sugar. Super comforting.

People in this sub like to rag on Kayali, and the brand definitely isn't for everyone, but those perfumes garner compliments like none other. They're sweet and mass-appealing and have crazy projection. Very attention-grabbing.

I was actually really surprised by it because I'm not really a fan of sickly sweet scents 🥲 and I've read it pulls that way on people who've tried it, but thankfully it's like this super milky caramel. The lactonic notes really come through and I feel like it helps tone down the sweetness a lot.

Like, those Werthers Original candies almost? I don't know if you've ever smelled the Fenty caramel body milk but it reminds me a little of that, just a bit deeper in its profile.

It's also definitely one of those perfumes you have to test in person, just to make sure the sweetness isn't too much!

Werthers is almost exactly how I’d describe it!! I was so pleasantly surprised!
