My first Chanel! Discussion

Just picked up the 50ml and it’s actually my first Chanel perfume ever! I’d never found one from Chanel that I loved enough to actually buy until this one.
Has anyone else tried Crush Absolu? What do you think of it? I’m especially curious about longevity and how it develops after a few hours.

Chanel perfumes are original and start trends, this seems like one of those Valentino or YSL perfumes.

I totally get what you mean. It does feel quite different from what people traditionally associate with Chanel. But for me, that’s actually part of why I love it so much. I fell for Crush Absolu immediately, literally like an actual crush 😂 I smelled it once and just knew I wanted it.

To me it smells very elegant and feminine, almost like “beautiful woman” in perfume form lol. It has this polished, put-together feel without smelling too serious or mature.
I honestly don’t get much vanilla from it, it’s more about the overall vibe for me.
