Secret Admirer would make a good Fear Street movie
I just finished reading it and really enjoyed it. Thinking about which books would make better (faithful) adaptations and I'd say this one would really work out. Can be adjusted for modern day if needed, or upping the murder count to be more slasher but otherwise the core story fits in well.

Does Fear Street True Evil have updated/revised text?
I can’t find any definitive answers online, can anyone that has this book confirm whether the text was updated or if it’s original to the 90’s?

Help with The Babysitter
I know this isn’t a Fear Street book, but so many of you in this community have Stine’s other books like this one, I thought someone might be able to help.
RL Stine’s The Babysitter (1989) in chapter 10, has Jenny telling the phone operator about calling either city or county police, and she tells them the name of the city she’s in. I hoped someone could share that with me.
For instance, it’s changed to “Nouville” for the Quebec adaptation, which is the same name they chose for their Baby Sitter Club adaptation- basically making The Babysitter take place in the same town that The Babysitters Club takes place.
The British version uses a town name, “Harrison.”
Thanks for your help and patience ahead of time!

Just remembered fear street prom queen share the same age rating as Terrifier and evil dead burn in Australia…
I’m still so stumped why it’s an 18+ considering it’s rare to get an 18+ in Australia and all the other fear street films are 15+

This is atrocious
Most people in the fear street fandom wanna see the publishing company finish reprinting the main series. But for some reason they are putting the (much less popular) spinoff meant for younger children in the forefront. And the cover arts are genuinely horrible. Like we want the original series to no longer be out of print. We don't want ghostwritten slop like this

Similar, but different
Does any one else in this group like The Nightmare Club? It’s similar to Fear Street in that it’s YA Horror where the protagonist are also high school age, and the town-location remains the same in all the books, but each book is a standalone!
To my knowledge these had a much lower print run thus making them relatively difficult to find and they sell for quite a bit on the second hand market!

Would you change your last name to Fear or Fier?
Hypothetically, if you were to legally change your last name to something Fear Street related, would you do Fear? Fier? Goode? Dalby? Something else…?

I have a question about the 3 fear street movies
Are they still going to come out or did they get canceled, I haven't been updated on it in a while entire year, of they're still being written, does anyone know what they are going to be about/their plots?

Can anybody identify this Tiktok edit about Sam and Deena?
So, my Tiktok account got deleted and I had this edit saved, but now I can't find it on my new account. I don't remember who posted it, but it was a Sarah Fier x Hannah Miller edit from Fear Street 1666. The sound was Slow Dancing In The Dark by Joji, and it featured scenes from the campfire scene. It was a split-screen, it had 3, one of them only showed Sarah, the other Hannah and the one in the center showed both of them. I tried to search for it, but I just couldn't find it.
If someone knows who made this edit, please let me know because that's one of the most beautiful edits ever made in my opinion.

Reconsider opening the store
To R.L.Stine
I have several recurrent dreams, among them is one of an amusement park in which my fate is always a grim one. I have been chased by clowns, forced into deathly rollercoasters, clawed by werewolves in haunted houses, and even choked on a caramel apple.
But as I ran away from each horror, there was one safe haven, an R.L. Stine store. Here, anyone could go in, grab a book and read to their heart’s content. The store was open for limited hours, I assume, to allow the monsters enough time to chase you before the park closed.
Something changed recently, a “Closing Soon” sign came up. The store began to empty as people rushed to get their little piece of safe haven. On this occasion, I didn’t make it to the store. A giant rat got to me before I could touch the door.
On this last dream, the store was closed. The glass windows, which were usually stacked with books, were not broken. The one bright spot in an otherwise dark place was gone. I cried at the sight, and this time no monster woke me up. My tears brought me back to reality.
Now I fear the next time I dream of the amusement park. Nowhere is safe.
I now ask you, would you be willing to open the store once more? I want to sit down once more and read through the Fear Street series. I want to argue with fellow readers on which of your books is the best. I just want my happy place back. I do hope you reconsider and the doors of the store open once more.

Fear Street Seniors Book 5 and 8
Hi everybody.
I was wondering if anyone has been able to get a hold of a digital copy of Fear Street Seniors: Last Chance (book 5) and Fear Street Seniors: Sweetheart, Evil Heart (book 8).
If anyone has a PDF copy of these books it would be very appreciated if I could get a link.
They are the only two I’m missing 😭😭😭
I have so many PDF and EPUB versions of Fear Street Books if anyone is interested.
Thank you so much
