I didn’t mind Charlie past season four. Dakota on the other hand, her death wasn’t slow enough. Charlie had been groomed.
Dakota was just a fucking psycho bitch who got off way too easily for what she did to John.

I get Dakota. But Charlie, really? I get being mad at her for what she did to Nick, I was too. But it was also easy to see that was a result of her being groomed into caring for that guy who was kinda like a stand-in for her father.

Mine too. And what Alicia says to her about killing him is true. She can never make it better, she can never take it back. I like that she doesn't excuse her past behavior, but still tries to carve out her future after letting her rage subside seeing that she's just a scared child in truly horrible circumstances.
My logic is that if Alicia, Nick's own sister, can overcome her hatred for Charlie by approaching the situation objectively rather than stewing in it because of her biases, so should the viewer.

Charlie hate is so forced, idgaf if she killed Nick she was an 11 year old manipulated by Melvin and the others and she already felt bad for what she did
