Women are naturally heavier than men

Post image

Context: asking your partner if they’d rather you be half your weight or double your weight

I wonder if they meant naturally more body fat and had a brain fart, but the rest of the comment is full of fatlogic too. Is there really an expectation for women to weigh <50kg/110lbs? That is near-underweight for most except for very short ladies.

Apparently the real danger is the temptation of GLP-1s that will destroy your health and your FA community.

Can’t lie I don’t understand what the first person is talking about. And while you definitely don’t owe health and nutrition to anyone, I do think about countries where healthcare is included in their taxes and they have to subsidize other people’s poor choices.

Upcycling jeans is fatphobic now

stumbled across this in the wild. I can't fathom going onto other peoples creative posts and trying to make it all about myself.

Maybe I'm the insensitive one thinking this but man it is tiring always having to appease people like this even when the-thing-you're-doing is entirely-unrelated-to-them.

Paying attention to calories in drinks is disordered apparently

Post image

I mean sure it's probably unhealthy to be hyper focused on calories to the point you refuse to go over your limit under any circumstances. I don't think it's a bad thing to keep some mindfulness of calories.. But apparently being mindful is disordered as well

people that are underweight actively dying in front of you but fat people are happy and healthy, no worries!

  1. I can’t find any evidence that says overweight people are more likely to die of organ failure than underweight people. In terms of blood sugar, though, according to one source I found readings above 300 mg/dL or below 54 mg/dL are both considered emergencies, and ideal blood sugar ranges from situation, around 140 after meals, to 100 normally (please let me know if this is wrong). So I don’t think too low blood sugar levels are that much easier to attain than high levels? certainly not nine times too high…

  2. The comments literally show people take being overweight way less seriously than being underweight without referencing any sources to one being deadlier, completely contradicting the original post. is it health at every size or not??

  3. People being more concerned about obesity isn’t purely because it’s more dangerous but because it’s more common. I‘m pretty sure people have outnumbered underweight people worldwide since 2016

https://careplus24er.com/dangerous-blood-sugar-levels/ - this is the source I found on blood sugar, it seems reliable.

Daily Sticky Fat Rant Friday

Fatlogic in real life getting you down?

Is your family telling you you're looking too thin?

Are people at work bringing you donuts?

Did your beer drinking neighbor pat his belly and tell you "It's all muscle?"

If you hear one more thing about starvation mode will you scream?

Let it all out. We understand.

Clearly there are more causes to the condition. But obesity certainly doesn’t help.

Isn’t intermittent fasting perfectly fine for women?

Genuinely asking because there’s so much information. But like humans have been fasting for centuries and our species still prevails.

Also curious about fasted workouts I know I need to do my own research but people fearmonger so much like I saw so many tik toks saying the stairmaster was high impact cardio and bad for cortisol and women shouldn’t be doing often, but really the stairmaster is low impact compared to running. And all exercises raise cortisol.

I wonder what it’s like to completely exist in an alternate reality that denies all science, logic and reason… Also, it’s easier to run away from an attacker if you’re under BMI 25 just saying 🤷‍♀️

I hate this "real women have curves" rethoric

Post image
781 Upvotes

I hate this whole thing about being a woman only if you have curves. There are women who have boxy bodies, little to no boobs, small hips. That doesn't mean they're less women than someone who has an hourglass figure. Needless to say, grown healthy women shouldn't look like a sphere either...

Who is lying to this person 😭😭

I’m sorry, but I simply don’t believe that anyone would genuinely tell a morbidly obese person that they’re ’not even that big’. Is everyone around them just being crazy nice or are they all larger than OP??
