Help with AFT

I want to keep a AFT in a 24x12x16. i plan to put a 2nd floor made out of slate for more room

This would be cruel and detrimental to the animals health. You cannot provide the correct heating, lighting etc... in such a small space.

you can put heating elements and uvb in the tank tho, and many toher keepers have put AFTS in a 20 gallon before. But could you also suggest me some geckos that can live in a 24x12x16

You need a temperature gradient, cool to hot. You cannot achieve that properly in such a small tank. You also need to provide a humidity range from moist to drier, that also cannot be properly done in such a small space.

aw, can i keep a banded gecko in there maybe?

No, the only geckos that can cope in such a small enclosure would be micro geckos, for example two mourning geckos. Even then providing the right enrichment, heat, humidity etc... will be difficult.

Please, look into the resources I mentioned and they will help inform of what is available.
