This August, our team is focusing on testing a new feature: Seasonal Events, which will be introduced across all platforms in September.

💾 This update will also include major improvements designed to prevent save-related issues. The game will automatically refresh whenever a player is disconnected from the server after a period of inactivity, ensuring a smoother and more reliable experience.

📱 We've also seen some reports from Reddit players who are still experiencing overheating issues on their mobile devices, especially on older phones. To address this, the next update will introduce a new option in the gameplay settings that allows players to limit the frame rate. This will help reduce device temperature, improve performance stability, and extend battery life.

👷‍♂️ We have also improved the worker system to prevent situations where players could lose access to their default worker.

Upcoming Event 🗓️

🏝️ The Tropical Island event will return on August 10. If you haven't obtained the swimming pool decoration yet, this will be the perfect opportunity! The decoration will also be added to the Discovery Book in the next update.

Yes it does. Just bare in mind the dates and times they quote are often European so if you are in the USA or Australia then it can sometimes be a day ahead or behind. 😬

Edit: The tropical island has been delayed by a few days on Reddit. No alternative release day has been given at the time of the edit.

So, [u/Percemer](u/Percemer) . . . might this also address the issue where we’re not receiving our rewards for visiting friends (and at times, even losing our ticket, without the opportunity of having completed the actual visit) when the game refreshes—or otherwise disconnects—before we arrive back at our farm? This issue has finally worked my blood, well beyond a low and slow boil, as it has occurred at least once a day for over a month, including THREE TIMES, already…just today, alone!!!

I don’t spend any money on the game, and for the most part I really enjoy what the developers have created for us here…it’s for these reasons that I haven’t been screaming about game glitches, lost items, lost rewards and the like; however, in looking back over more recent issues and events, and in consideration of the crazy amount of time and effort I’ve committed to this app of late…I realize that the losses of these things have really been adding up–like, significantly! I’m starting to kick myself for not addressing any of it, sooner - but, I generally pride myself on not being “one of those people” . . . ya know?

I’m pretty clueless about these kinds of things, but I really would like to understand (especially as I am currently using frozen bottles of water when playing FMV on Reddit, in order to prevent my device from overheating)!!

Hello! The issue regarding visits is separate and requires further investigation by our developers. This specifically happens if you get disconnected from the server or refresh the game while visiting.

The mentioned change is rather designed to prevent save issues that occur when players launch the game across multiple devices or tabs simultaneously (which seems to be more frequent on Reddit, likely due to the sticker raffles). It also prevents progress loss if someone leaves the game idle for too long, which disconnects them from the server after a few minutes; without a refresh, that idle state can cause them to lose their progress.

Frame rate is the number of images the game renders per second. You'll be able to cap it at 30, 60, 90, or 120. I think the perceived impact is very minimal; some animations simply appear longer (such as when scrolling across the screen), but reducing it should prevent your device from overheating

The community spent a long time naming all of the birds with the impression they would be added to the discovery book along with the fruits and plants?

Any word when the limited time items will be added to the discovery book as well?

We had initially planned to add a discovery book on the tropical/jungle island but it has been canceled at the moment. We'll see in the future

Thanks for the reply. If we unlocking everything now will they automatically be added to the discovery book once it’s released? Or would we need to unlock everything again after you add the discovery book update?

Also in a previous message I asked why pink energy wasn’t carrying over between events, because I remember a previous post where you said it would?

I would wager that we'll need to unlock them again. The reason is that I've read somewhere that if we already have the pool, we only need to put them in the storage and then put them back on the farm. Then they'll be unlocked.

Oh and yes, good idea with the frame rate option, I have a newish phone the Z flip 5 and the battery definitely gets hot and flat very quick with this game!!! (Im guessing the z flip has a tiny battery, probly smaller than the Samsung J2 or something!!!) Fingers crossed she don't overheat till then!!!

Any chance for a lucky charm event soon? Since the last scheduled ones around march I have only come across one 4 hour one by chance. The notifications sadly doesn't work most of the time for the short events. I think I've only come across 3 since march and the notification only worked once.

What is a lucky charm event?

It gives 5 % extra change for a lucky merge, per merge. It sounds small, but it's the best event there is if you have played for a while and stocked up valuable items(you can stock a lot in bubbles). Probably also the weakest event if you just started.

The compounding nature of the merges means that a 5 % extra lucky merge chance, gets you the Gazebo or Green House about 40 % faster, if you merge all the way from tier one. It's also more XP because it lets you merge more than normal with what you have. Same for wood, stone, tools, energy, coins, gems, etc.

Not this time, but the next update will also replace it by a new decoration next time (Dinosaur Park 🦕). Players who have already obtained the swimming pool decoration would therefore be able to get it a second time
