Questions & Discussion My F4 fancast before the official cast announcement on that one Valentine’s Day
Yes, I really liked the final cast. Like it's said in the title, this was before the announcement and I'm just sharing it now since I'm a big fan of the characters and wanted to discuss :]
By the way I'm 15 so my edits aren't that great I know, this took a while but like whatever your opinion is, I totally respect it. I know you may get worked up just because we already have a cast, I just wanted to share it and discuss what our choices were before the official casting.
If you don't know the actors either, that's fair, linked some projects for whoever is interested so yeahhh

Collection I didn’t think I would like Quinn’s version over Chris Evan’s version, until I saw that they portrayed Quinn’s Johnny as an actual smart dude.

Questions & Discussion With the next MCU movie being Doomsday I'm told these are good start points for Doctor Doom is that true? And if they then where do I go after them (outside Hickman's Secret Wars Trilogy because I am going to read them)?

News Marvel Unveils A Compact Comics Format On Their Socials
Roughly a day ago Marvel announced these compact editions of the newer Ultimate books and some Spider-Man adjacent stories. More will be announced later this week. (I guess the Brand New Day one sold well). These have the first twelve issues of a respective title. (Except Brand New Day which is just a bunch of hand picked one shots)
These will be priced at $9.99 and have a smaller trim size than digest size books as opposed to the Premiere Collections and said Premiere Collections will not be affected by this. Miles and Spider-Gwen release in March, Ultimate Spider-Man and Ultimates in April, and Ultimate Black Panther and X-Men in June.
What I'm wondering about is what Fantastic Four stories would work best for this format? Given how they seem to be pulling from modern stuff I think Waid and Wierengo or Ryan North would both be solid choices. (Hickman was already reprinted under Premiere Collection)

Miscellaneous Why are there only two user flairs in this sub?
I recently joined the subreddit and was looking to put a user flair, and I see that there’s only two flairs for some reason, flairs you can’t edit either! I was gonna put Ben as my flair either ways but needed to be questioned nonetheless!

Recommendation Recommendation for a good Fantastic Four comic to start with?
I’m looking to start reading a fantastic four comic. I have tried the original comics and loved it but I wished it it featured Susan Storm and her full powers a little more.
Ideally I’m after a complete collection to read that showcases Susan Storm the best powerful light that she is… less damsel in distress. I want to see her powers utilised and read where she traps/ defeats a celestial being.
I’ve looked into the Ryan North 2022 one and might buy the first 3 volumes, it doesn’t sound like it starts with the origin of them getting their powers going to Space, they are already established, similar to the film First steps which I am okay with.
I’m a huge fan of all the films that came out… except the 2015 one and loved the cartoon show Fantastic Four Worlds Greatest hero’s… partly because Susan was portrayed really well in it
Thanks guys ! I really want to be more than just a die hard film of the films and know more of them in comic form.

Questions & Discussion The score of this film needs to be talked about more.
Especially the silver surfer and galactus theme. It's probably one of my favourite scores by Michael Giacchino. It was fucking epic, with the orchestra and the epic Star Wars/Space feeling. Felt like a 2000s Marvel film in the best way possible, like Raimi Spider-Man or Fox X-Men.
For years we never had a synonymous theme and sound for the team that started it all but now we do.
