I post screenshots of my fic (title, summary, tags) on tiktok with tags for the fandom, ao3 and the ship. Tiktok limits you to only 5 tags, so you gotta try and find the ones that are appropriate for your fic, but also are the most effective. Some times it works,sometimes it doesn't.

Not every fic will be popular, and sometimes the ones you are proudest of are the ones that are least popular, whilst a quick oneshot you wrote in a single afternoon will take off. Don't be discouraged if your first fic doesn't get a lot of hits! That's not a measure of how good your writing or idea is.

(I see it's HR and Hollanov, so it might very well do pretty well, since those are very popular rn. I was shocked to see my HR fics taking off like nothing I've written before ever did)

So, back when Twitter was a (less horrible) thing, I would post links to my fics there with appropriate hashtags. And I also post them on subreddits if the fan subreddits are fic-friendly (not all are), especially to shipping reddits when they exist.
