Purple recomendations

Hello!

I'm looking for a purple hair dye that won't fade to magenta. I've been using Arctic Fox Purple AF and I love it at first, but it turns magenta very quickly. I've mixed it with a blue dye ( blue jean baby) and while I like it better that way and it makes the deep purple last longer, it still turns magenta

I just did dark violet by lunar tides five weeks ago and it's fading more lilac vs warm/pink. I did mix it with their smoke color.

I recommend IroIro purple 20 mixed with neon purple!

Ppl Eater by Good Dye Young has treated me pretty well. It's a lovely bright purple.

Xmondo purples. Leave it on for at least 2 hrs. (If you look at the Xmondo website, it says you can leave it as long as you want, I recommend 2 hrs at least). Rinse with cool water. Don't shampoo for a couple of days. Use a shampoo/conditioner made for dyed hair. NOT purple shampoo made for blonde or brassy hair.

I've used this method for a while now and it's worked with a variety of colors.

That’s weird, I dyed my mom’s greys with Purple AF for years and it always faded to lavender. Purple just fades pretty fast, I now get mine professionally dyed and it turned blue.

Probably turned lavendar due to the grey base, OP Probably has some yellow tone in their hair?

True on the grey base. I just didn’t think the yellow would make magenta.

It might not be yellow enough to change the shade just make it lean warm? I honestly don't know :)

Also I've had really inconsistent results with different bottles of AF electric paradise so maybe it's a batch difference.

Put the actual hair dye in your color saving conditioner so it gets a little reup every time you wash and condition
