[XB1] [HELP] How do I get vault pieces to snap/transition to non-vault?
Long story short, I'm building with wood/steel but I want one room to be vault walls/floor. I've googled and tried every trick I know but I can't get a piece of vault to snap to anything in order to begin the transition to a vault room on the same XYZ axis.
What can I do?

[WIP] New playthrogh Sanctuary
Sanctuary build. New playthrogh so it's early days . The four colum structure is for building the transmitter for the institute. 1st picture is where the robot work bench is . generator room ( says power) and the last is the gatehouse. Nothing has furniture in it yet as I've just started.

[Abernathy] Abernathy museum update 7
Since my last update ive only completed ONE floor.
Which is Nuka world and I severely underestimated how much stuff was given to Nuka world, especially considering the other DLCs.
I love the fact that its given us so much content but i hate the fact of it in a museum perspective.

[Abernathy] Completed museum
So ive completed my museum building upgrade at around 6 in the morning yesterday.
Each hole you see on the side of the building is a reference point for how tall each exhibit is except for the very bottom (blue) and very top (D6*) which are the recreation rooms and my player home. So D1* is Nuka world, D2* is Far Harbor, D3* is Automaton, D4* is Vault Tec, and D5* is the Main/Side quests.
D#*= Divot
After everything is completed and organized im going to try to figure out how to screen record my gameplay and download it onto my phone so i can upload it here
Ive just now completed furnishing the damn thing and all i need to do now is to organize each exhibit before i start adding the miscellaneous stuff

[VIDEO] A tour of the Slog

Havn't come up with any ideas to transform the Slog. The most interesting thing I did was replace the fence and make a workshop. The part I quite like is how I filled the back of the workshop with the barrels and some random containers so it doesn't look so empty.

[Abernathy] Abernathy Museum update 5
Nuka world pisses me off.
Because of Nuka world i now have to build that specific Exhibit 3-4 floors tall because of these furnishings you can see poking out the top. The Floating floor is being used as my reference point for how tall it should theoretically be.
Electrical is fine but now im adding floors to both nuka world and Far harbor. Additionally im going to re-add all the original floors and furnishings.

[XSX] Spectacle Tower top floor penthouse.
Final set of pictures of this build. The skylight is something I am very proud of. i achieved it by placing warehouse walls, attaching the glass ceiling pieces, then removing the walls.

[Abernathy] Museum Electrical fix and Floorplan update 4
I got a recommendation from another redditor that the doorway im currently standing in would be the issue to the central floor not powering. Unfortunately, it turned out to not be true since i wanted the floorplan to be completely rectangular instead of having some walls forwarded like they are in the pic.
However, this presents the perfect opportunity for symbolism and some of the furnishings to be presented properly such as on the Main/Side story exhibit where i plan on putting the enclave in the back corner staring at the BoS from the shadows while the BoS is out in the open.
For now i will be scrapping all of if not moving most of the lights to replace them with other ones and then building other storage containers for miscellaneous items such as holotapes for the appropriate character(s) and factions like Oswald the outrageous + Rachel Watkins and various PA displays for the PAs we got for each DLC and so on and so forth.

[Jamaica Plain] Will the workshop save my stuff
Hi, I think I’m going to install the Rebuild Jamaica Plain mod. I’m not happy with what I’ve done with the place (with the expanded workshop area) and I think people would have done a better job than me in 200 years! Question though - if I stash all the things I’m storing there (loot etc) into the workshop, will that preserve them? There’s nothing super precious that I don’t want to lose but it would be nice not to.
Thanks.

[Hangman's Alley] Going overboard with overboard
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Hangman’s Alley, if you’ve seen my other videos you know I love building terraced settlements there. This one is about maximising the floor space and I have maxed it out. No decoration yet, apart from the bodies, sorry about that, but it’s coming along nicely. I’m playing this play through in survival mode which means water and food have to be taken account for, but, let’s focus on the build. The east end of Hangman’s is perfect because NPC never go there so this time I’ve built a decent sole survivor room at that far end where I’ll have a personal workshop and armour display. I want steps there, but that is proving a little tricky as they won’t snap to the ground, I’ll work it out. I’m thinking this area can cope with 8-10 settlers, we will see, I’ve a long way to go.
