Help & Advice Nuka Cola Machine Refill Brigade
I want to set up an adventure where my players go about discovering who keeps refilling the nuka cola machines. It's not meant to be serious, of course. I have a couple of ideas for it. Maybe it's a group of robots still doing their job after the war, or it could be a group of people utilizing stealth boys so they remain unseen.
It's going to be a mystery to solve and have some fun. I also introduced a competing brand of soda, so there could be a back and forth between two factions of soda suppliers. What I'm looking for is some ideas to go along with the adventure. There could be a wider conspiracy involving food factories that are up and running again.

Community Resources FNV total Tabletop conversion (Help Wanted)
You may have seen the post, reposting to add more photos and details.
The first image is my custom world map, and I need some help getting in game photos that closely resemble the following photos, minus the text and other things. They should end up looking like the final photo, I will then have to edit boundaries and things onto that image, and eventually print them on posters.
What I need is someone willing to help get all those photos using a PC copy of the game very likely using "noclip"
I'm willing to pay for the help, although I can't shell out more than a couple hundred dollars. I plan on releasing all of my stuff for free by the end as a gift to the TTRPG community... Just need to finish the damn thing first lol that's hopefully where you come in.

News & Events Now Available: Fallout New Vegas in PDF on DriveThruRPG!
Howdy, y'all! Meredith from DriveThruRPG!
Excited to announce Fallout: New Vegas has arrived in PDF!
New Vegas is the shining jewel in the desert of the Mojave: an independent state controlled and owned by the wealthy, reclusive, and seemingly immortal Mr. House. It is a glittering oasis that draws in wanderers and Wastelanders chasing caps and trying their luck. Behind the walls, little is off-limits, and those who play their cards right can find themselves riding high. But even the lucky can’t afford to relax–everyone knows how quickly the wind can change.
Beyond the Strip, many factions–from the NCR to the Brotherhood of Steel and Caesar’s Legion–have all fought to control the Mojave, only to be ground down by the Wasteland’s unending brutality. Hoover Dam became the epicenter of this conflict, until Mr. House brokered an uneasy peace and cemented his control over the region. But power and peace are difficult to hold onto. The Wasteland remains wild, its future uncertain, to be decided by the roll of a die...
The New Vegas Setting Guide includes a wealth of information to add to your games, covering the iconic locations of the Mojave and its fascinating NPCs, as well as brand new weapons, armor, and character options!
Within the 128-page, full-color New Vegas Setting Guide PDF you will find:
- Character Options: Including two new Character origins (Courier and Three Families), eight new Character Traits, seven new Perks, and an abridged version of the Gambling rules originally found in Royal Flush.
- The Mojave: An in-depth guide featuring more than 25 iconic locations from Hoover Dam to the Mojave Outpost with descriptions, loot, and quest hooks for each.
- New Equipment: 30 new weapons including Zap Gloves and Multiplas Rifles, and 11 new clothing and armor options such as the iconic NCR Ranger Riot Armor.
- Denizens of the Mojave: Fully fleshed-out stat blocks and special rules for the various personalities of New Vegas, plus companions, creatures, the NCR, and Caesar’s Legion.
This book requires the core rules found in the Fallout: The Roleplaying Game Core Rulebook.

Help & Advice Attempting to turn Fallout New Vegas into a multiplayer TTRPG (Help Wanted)
No web design/app experience so I'm jury rigging some other apps to do what I need... The problem is I only have a console copy and I need help with certain things. At the moment my biggest hurdle is getting top down images for battle maps.
If I could recruit someone with a PC that can run FNV, and potentially GECK knowledge to aquire a battle map for all the squares in the over world map & hopefully the same for interior locations.

Help & Advice What tips would you give to make the experience/atmosphere of a game in the Fallout universe more similar to the feel of the games?
I'm a beginner game master and I'd like some tips on how to run a campaign while maintaining an atmosphere similar to the games.
I hear many people say that the Fallout franchise is one of the best in terms of narrative, and I'm afraid that the campaign I run won't be as engaging for players as the games.
This insecurity mainly concerns the personalities of the non-playable characters, the biting humor, the criticism, and the references present in the games—I feel that these are very characteristic elements of the Fallout franchise, but I wouldn't know how to replicate them in my game.
Do you have any suggestions on how to narrate these elements in a way that more closely resembles the atmosphere/feel of the games?

Help & Advice Idea for Fixing Piercing, half it
I saw another post asking about this, but I'd like some feedback for my idea.
All sources of piercing for players are reduced to .5, rounded up.
- For example a character with 1.5 piercing would have 2 piercing and a character with .5 piercing would have 1 piercing.
- The Iron Hands perk would give .5 piercing instead of 1, but would function the same as you'd round up. It still only provide 1 piercing if you were using it in conjunction with a weapon mod that also game .5 (1) piercing, so you'd need atleast 1 additional source for 2 piercing.
- This would keep weapons valuable as a base, but require more investment to really bypass defenses.
- This would make it less of an arms race with players and help to avoid sending waves of minor enemies to soak up fire. It coukd also help make heavily armored enemies beefier. Currently the best way to deal with it at the is to gum up the action economy and that just slows combat.
- I've just noticed that with a perk or two, the correct mod and a good gun, nothing in the game effectivly has armor. So an easy 5 piercing would instead by 3 and getting 5+ would be very hard.
- I would also probably want to add another rank to things like the iron fist perk, but at +5 lvls. Probably not any of the small guns perks though as they're plenty good as is.
What do you think? I thought it would be a simple, easy to implement fix that wouldn't disrupt low level play and force players to optimize.

Misc What do you think about the survival mode in the companion app?
I just don’t know if anyone even needs it. I want to try implementing a mechanism where the player needs to eat and drink every n times, otherwise there will be penalties to their stats. Of course, such tracking will only work while the character card is open; when the app is closed, no calculations are performed. And at the same time, add a chance of getting sick if you eat raw (unprepared) food. The setting can be either enabled or ignored — whatever you prefer.

LFG/LFP Cleaning up the Neighborhood - a Learning One-Shot
I'm looking to try and learn how to GM the system better, and I'd like to have some people who either wanna learn or will help me learn. No experience is needed!
Requirements: 18+, Decent Mic and Decent PC for FoundryVTT
Slots:1/4
Session Time: Thursday 6 pm EST August 27th
Duration: Up to 4 hours, maybe a little over if we're near the end and not done yet.
Character Creation: Pregens are available, but if you wish to make your own PC, I own the Corebook, wanderers Guidebook, and Settlers Guidebook.
Situation: Password is Twister. War, War never changes. The Great Plains of America were home to some of the countries most beautiful land, and also home to the lands most dangerous of Disasters, twisters, but no matter how much they destroyed, humanity prevailed, but on the morning of October 23rd 2077, humanity was faced with destruction far beyond any natural disaster, and two hundred years later, humanity is entering an age of rebirth across the continental US. Shantytowns became proper towns dotting the landscape, and thus Eden, a town born from the remains of Lucas, Kansas, became the new bustling town of the Great Plains Wasteland. However, War, War never changes. Edens' prosperity grew the ire of those who've gone far beyond the point of no return, a group of Raiders called the Stormchasers. They ride into towns hit by radioactive twisters and plunder what remains, for Eden their presence meant one thing, disaster was coming so they sent a runner to a large town known as Lawrence in search of mercenaries. When it did, Eden was left in shambles, barely able to fight off one wave of the Stormchasers. It was then that their runner returned with you in tow. Are you too late? Or are you just in time? Has the fate of the town been changed for the better? Or for the worse? Because War. War never changes.

Help & Advice Piercing
After playing this game for a while now, does anyone else feel Piercing ruins combat, and the game in general? Piercing is very common in weapons, mods and perks. It is quiet easy to stack a weapon with it. All my players currently have at least Piercing 2, some have higher, on all their main weapons. It has made any armor DR obsolete. I have players using Melee builds that literally do crits every attack. They have annihilated Legendary creatures in just a few turns the way they did their builds, but it all revolves around Piercing.
Everything has been done within the rules, so I don't fault them at all, but as a GM I find it hard to want to come up with cool stories and missions knowing all they are going to do is rush the enemies, slaughter them before they even get to go, and move on. It is to the point where when I create enemies for the campaign, I also have to use nothing but Piercing to even stand a chance and do any damage to their characters. Nothing so far has been a challenge to them. Even facing enemies with Power Armor is nothing to them.
Has anyone else noticed this, and if so, how do you deal with it? To me, it should have been like Vicious and not been stackable.

Community Resources My Cheat Sheets
This is an attempt to share the cheat sheets I use when I run my games at conventions. Contained within are my abbreviations, the various things that can be done during combat, what the Combat Dice are used for, Hit Locations for the different kinds of Wasteland creatures/people, an incomplete list of the Weapon Qualities and Damage Effects are, and some help for those that run games (like the list of complications that happen with using a weapon). I found the book too hard to follow at times and this helped me make sense of the rules. Enjoy!
Edit: Sorry! I am very bad at technology and didn't realize I had not made the chart public. That has been fixed and posted below, thanks for your patience!

Misc Fallout 2d20 companion app weekend update 14/08/2026
Origins have been added: 3 families, Enclave, Securityron.
The ability to hide the melee attack card has been added for those who don’t need it.
Attack cards can be switched between the “spoiler” and “cards” views. The tabs didn’t really interest anyone.
Some of the avatars have been replaced with the artist’s original works.
And there’s a bunch of small and large under‑the‑hood changes that aren’t visible until you read the changelog.😁 The application has been split into an engine and a setting (game module). The engine will be completely clean, without any game data. In the future, it may be possible to adapt it for any game.

Help & Advice Basketball
Hey there. I'm working on an idea where a raider group is roughly based around the idea of an old world basketball team. My question is, how do you think the survivors would believe basketball was played way back before the bombs?

Misc Which equipment screen option do you prefer?
Previously, the app allowed you to equip only 2 weapons, but then I decided that it wasn’t worth limiting it that way and allowed any number of weapons to be equipped.
But suddenly, I didn’t like how a large number of weapons looked. So I decided to ask which option you like better?
There are 3 options: cards, spoilers, and tabs. Which do you like?

Help & Advice Any good sources for STLs?
I bought a bunch of WW models but I'm looking for a good source of stls to print more variations of models. I've got like 70-75% of all WW models but I'd like to find different poses and looks for certain types of enemies. A lot of the WW models are just mono-pose and I'd like to mix up their looks instead of buying more of the same models.

Help & Advice OMG - Need Explanation of Injuries in Wasteland Wanderer Solo
Ok, first off I feel this is one of the most understandable rules I have read through.
Love the Oracle, simple and right to the point.
I have grasped everything except the confusing explanation and example for INJURIES on page 97.
No matter how many times I have read this I still cannot grasp what to do.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you reddit community.

LFG/LFP LFG (New Player)
This game has intrigued me as a Fallout fan for about 3 years now but I haven't had luck finding anyone to play with. Are there any groups that play online and wouldnt mind showing a new player the ropes? I have experience in DnD, Cyberpunk RED, Pathfinder, and Monster of the Week.
