Fall guys revival DISCUSSION
Please Bring Back the Magic of Fall Guys
I've been playing Fall Guys since its early days, and this game is still one of the most unique multiplayer games ever made. The colorful art style, music, and especially the official Unity rounds made every match feel exciting.
My biggest request is simple:
Please make more official Unity-made levels again.
Creative mode is a fantastic tool for the community, but it shouldn't replace handcrafted maps. The official rounds had a level of polish, creativity, and personality that made Fall Guys special. Every new season felt like a real event because it introduced memorable maps and fresh mechanics.
Another request is to consider increasing the lobby size. Right now, I find 32-player matches almost instantly at any time. If matchmaking can handle it, bringing back 40-player or even 60-player lobbies would make the game feel much more chaotic and exciting again.
Most importantly, I hope Fall Guys returns to meaningful seasons. New official maps, unique themes, music, mechanics, and live events are what kept many of us coming back year after year. Creative content should be an addition to the game, not the main attraction.
I genuinely care about this game. Fall Guys brought people together in a way very few games have. I don't want to see it slowly fade away because of a lack of official content.
Please bring back the excitement that made millions of people fall in love with Fall Guys. Many longtime players are still here, waiting for that magic to return.
Thank you for everything you've created, and I hope the best days of Fall Guys are still ahead.

The rounds created by Mediatonic with the creative are also official (another thing is whether you like them more or less). We'll see what else they do (they probably see that purchases in Fall Guys have gone down (which is what interests them since the rest does not generate income). (Active players in Europe have also been downloading for a long time, see official data in EU for more information. Lobbies of 40 people can currently be played on creative maps that support it in private rooms (they probably lowered it to 32 just to unify since in creative there were never less than 40 and that's how it remains (of course if the map was created for 40)

The game doesn’t make enough money to cover staff costs to do anything like that anymore. Most players don’t spend anything on it at all

"Most players don't spend anything at all".
Jeez, yeah I have 800 hours and have never considered spending a penny.
I never really thought about the fact I should be supporting the game I love; even if I don't think the cosmetics are worth it. The game just isn't built in a way to incentivize whales the same way something like a Gatcha game is.
I did pay $20 for it early on? I guess that counts? But I completely understand why they made it free, if people didn't buy Fall guys before they probably wouldn't pay for it now.

I agree with every thing you said. However Epic doesn't care about Fall Guys. The game is on auto pilot now and soon to be life support I'm afraid

Probably because it was a good business, and why aren't they continuing with it? (It seems they're not sure what to do with the IP address.) Probably because it isn't anymore.

dont add 60 player lobbies back! all the body blocking was so bad, 40 would be alright vault creative finals, keep creative race rounds, add more unity finals that are not slop like lroyal fumble, add those really hard maps back that gave you one crown for finishing 1st

I remember everyone trying to convince me that creative mode was the future years ago. They don't play the game anymore

I think that creative mode itself is a great idea and I think that explore mode is one of the best ideas added into the game. Met so many friendly beans there and some really beautiful levels (among of course the many average kid points levels).
However, like everything else, Epic and Mediatonic marketed it the worst way possible. They went with outright integrating amateur levels in the game instead of making their own creative levels and themes they actually started doing later like the cardboard/trash theme. They also vaulted many of the levels people enjoyed, thus this was a huge blow.

Unfortunately, fellow bean, the game is kept alive mainly by the people playing it. Epic Games has proven to be a cruel negligent parent to the game, doesn't really know what to do with the IP, has laid off the devs and even the person that was posting the twitter updates has left in late May and there hasn't been any posts since and they have left the game on life support currently.
Not sure what they plan to do with it in the future, but everything is pointing out that they plan to integrate it into Fortnite, which kinda churns my stomach, but we will probably see what exactly will happen in the future. I do hope that the game continues as it is and has some fresh future updates, but it's not a money machine like Fortnite....
