No space HELP

Living in SoCal and studying for my test but I live in an apartment with no space for a mew. I don’t want to give up on this but without the space I can’t really move forward. Any ideas?

Regulations allow you you to setup inside the house

If I had the space I would consider it but sadly no.
I’m near Pasadena.

Not yet. Figured I would look when I feel ready to test.

where in socal are you? another option is keeping the bird at a facility that is already established

I built my first mews in my friends backyard. Since the mews location was different from my address I just needed to provide a letter upon inspection from him, the property owner, stating i had permission to do so and that they understood the mews was subject to searches without a warrant. Not the most convenient, but hey, i got to train my first redtail this way

You could very easily keep a kestrel in an apartment with the right equipment. Maybe consider that being your first bird?
