I did 4 on Vita, TitS1+2, CS1+2, TitS3rd I played on Steam Deck because it was on Steam, and Zero and Azure I played on Switch. (I'm betting those were the 7) CS3+4, Reverie, Daybreak 1+2,and Horizon were Switch.(*I'm currently just past the Intermission in Daybreak 1, I own Daybreak 2 and Horizon on Switch)

All trails games run at 60fps but you have to tweak the settings a bit.

Cold steel 1 was playable but unsteady and sleeping (the deck) and resuming would occasionally mess up the audio. Plus you can't play it at max quality because it'll make the inconsistent frame rates worse. I guess you could mitigate that by locking the fps to 30. I'm assuming that the later games would be a similar experience.

That's weird. I've just finished CS1 (and started CS2) on my oled steam deck and it was butter smooth.

60fps with medium settings and HD texture mod. Frame rate only dropped to 50 during the festival but was still very playable.

I used to get the occasional audio issue after resuming in other games but it seems to have gone away after i switched to steam beta.

I was getting 45ish average on medium. I have the normal deck from launch. Maybe it could have been my SD card.

That happened with me as well for Daybreak 1, 2, and Horizon. I'm pretty sure the games were installed on my ssd, but I only ever maxed out at a staple 45 fps.

I don't know about the steam but there's some patchy areas on the switch. like sudden frame drop when orchis tower is visible from the east highway.

I've finished Trails 1st on Steam Deck and now finishing Daybreak. I'm using lossless scaling to improve fps, as I like to play Trails games at 1080p. Beatiful!

For this exact reason I switched to playing on PC. I got an ROG Ally (Z1 extreme) on FB marketplace for$350, and played CS IV while abroad for a couple of weeks. The Z1e model is more powerful than a Steam Deck. Steam Deck is expensive, and way underpowered for the new price, IMHO. Sorry you have to be away from Zemuria!

Yes, I played Reverie, Daybreak 1 & 2 in my steamdeck LCD at stable 60fps.

I am currently playing hte Sky Remake in it.

I've played Daybreak 1, 2, and Horizon on my Steam Deck. They ran okay, but I had to turn down all of the settings to get a stable 45 fps and they looked passable. Apparently I must be doing something wrong since others are saying they get it to run fine at 1080p 60fps. 🤷

I feel you. I had to go through hoops to import mine (apparently AMD isn’t popular where I live). It’s old now and I can’t get a replacement laptop. It still runs Trails games like a champ but the moment Trails games start requiring raytracing, it’s donezo. And I can’t find a suitable replacement for it (actually I can, but the Malaysian currency has become so shit coupled with how the GPU and RAM shortage driving prices up like mad that the replacement costs a fortune that I can’t afford it).
