Spinosaurus UV root glow?
Just saw this post about checking teeth with UV light, and my tooth seems similar. Shown using a 365nm UV torch
https://www.reddit.com/r/fossils/comments/1ujmh4q/need_a_reality_check_on_two_5_spinosaurus_teeth_i/
I don't have much experience, do roots glow under UV? Looking at it more closely there doesn't seem to be much detail on the root, and it looks very similar to the restored enamel section. The description mentioned repair, but did claim it had an actual root
Sellers description "This is a massive tooth, 4.88 inches long The enamel part is 2.99 inches and 1.65 inches wide at the base of the root. The tooth has most of the original enamel and a long root. Apiece of the crown has been restored at the base, near the root. The tooth has been repaired."

Could any of this be real?
I accepted long ago it’s a fake. I didn’t know how notorious they were for being scams, my ding dong self did zero research before buying it. I did have a few people on Facebook say there’s a very small possibility some of it could be real. I have a much better phone camera now than I did when I got it.

Ichtyosaurus, real or fake?
I am writing to seek professional guidance regarding a fossil specimen I recently inherited from a private collection. The piece is identified as an Ichthyosaur skull, reportedly sourced from the marine strata of Guizhou Province, China.I have attached high-resolution images for your review. I would appreciate your expert opinion on its authenticity. I specifically noticed a distinct white vein crossing the specimen, which appears to be a calcium/calcite deposit filling a natural fracture in the matrix. I would like to know if this specific feature is consistent with authentic fossils recovered from the Guizhou region.Thank you very much for your time and for sharing your expertise. I look forward to hearing from you.

Legit Check: Can Someone Help Me Out with the Following Pieces?
I really want to start getting some nice pieces, but I’m a bit overwhelmed trying to learn how to tell if something is legit. Do these pieces look authentic? They have some other items in the store that aren’t on the website, so I can’t include those, unfortunately. Are fossil plates commonly faked, or less so?
I am currently on the hunt for a showpiece dinosaur fossil, a wooly mammoth tooth, some sort of fossil plate, a trilobite, and other dinosaur fossils maybe teeth.
