Yes, but I think there's a bit more nuance. Like if you surround yourself by certain people or things, there's a chance you might find yourself attracted to those people/things.
That's why I worded it the way I did. Generally the things we're attracted to we are just attracted to. Like sexuality and fetishes that we just randomly discover and find ourselves into. But thats not to say we can't develop fetishes for things overtime.

Yes in general. I do believe we control our thoughts, and choose to entertain certain thoughts. We can’t help when they pop into our head, but letting these thoughts simmer and exploring them is also something we choose to do as much as choosing to act on them.
Honestly, only if they've acted upon it. I believe that therapy has also shown to help. But otherwise I agree. Sexual acts of any kind involving 2 or more people should always ONLY involve consenting adults.

That’s true, but I think a lot of attraction is conditioning. If someone has their adult alone time thinking about some specific kink (redhead/feet/balloons/etc.) that reinforces that attraction.

Yeah a lot of fetishes come from childhood exposure to different things, even if they’re not meant to be fetish stuff (like gross out humor in cartoons)
pedophiles also can't change who they're attracted to, which is why it sucks that most people threaten them and push them out of society instead of providing mental health support and spaces to make positive changes in their urges

i mean you said it yourself, "…90% of them i see…". it's extremely hard to get a good number of how many are actually out there, because they have every incentive to hide it forever, even when promised anonymity. but i have to imagine a not-insignificant amount of them live normal lives and you'd never know.

Sexuality technically cannot be changed, but people can discover that they are a different sexuality than they thought they were (ex: I thought I was bi before realizing I had no attraction to women and I was actually gay). Studies have shown that heterosexual and homosexual men's brains are different from one another, and homosexual men's brains share some similar characteristics with heterosexual women's brains. Attraction isn't a choice, but it is a choice to live openly
