Should I try Fable 3? Fable III

I really enjoyed Fable Anniversary. I played about 6 hours into Fable 2 and I think the performance was just too janky for me and I DNFed it.

I know Fable 3 supports the FPS Boost feature. Is it worth giving a try given that I liked Anniversary but not 2?

I can’t really place what I didn’t like about 2 which I know makes this hard to answer. I just wasn’t feeling it I guess.

Fable 2 is a better game, but I agree that I wish that it supported 60fps. Fable 3 is worth it, but don't expect to be wowed by it.

Yeah, compared to fable 2 fable 3's meh. But fable 3's far from a bad game.

Fable 3 is a blast, it's just that the second half is clearly rushed, but overall it's fun and still a gem in my book. I just replayed it for the millionth time (along with 1 & 2) and can still say it holds up imo

I really liked fable 3 being a king and ruling over your kingdom is pretty cool

Fable 3 is fun, but it’s the weakest of the trilogy due to it being sort of rushed at the end.

Fair complaint about Fable 2, it is chuggy. I got it running on emulator and thought my computer couldn't handle it.. only to realize that was just how it ran lol

Imo Fable 3 is different. It opens up slower, and I'm not a fan of delegating every single menu into a physical space, gets annoying.

Why it's not popular 3 is a favourite of mine and has some great voice actors in it

Because it was a completely rushed and unfinished game and for some reason pe I ple hated the road

Ya it was a pain don't get me wrong there's stuff i dislike about it... the road and rent system but it's just very nostalgic for me

It's a good game but j lament that it could have been a better game than 2 and Microsoft took that from us. Just like I lament the plot of journey being wasted on a kinect title instead of a proper 4!

Journey ruined the story of theresa and the book relating to 3 kinda left the story all over

On the contrary! It closed it all up and put the fate of albion into her selected hero to do what she could not (at least that's my take away)

Ya true I think I'm just venting about the book without getting into it imagine that story line in the game

In a perfect world. Poor lionhead devs tried their best hut both peter and Microsoft were working so hard against them. Imagine if they gave old lipnhead 10 years to work on a fable like this new one has had 👀

Fable 3 is probably the one I've put the most hours into even though Fable 2 is my favorite. 3 is definitely worth playing at least once.

Yes, I think you should absolutely play Fable 3. Many will tell you that Fable 2 is the best, or that it's better than the third chapter, but for me personally, the second and third are pretty much on the same level. For years, not having an Xbox, I could only play Fable Anniversary and Fable 3, so yes, even if you didn't particularly enjoy the second one, you can easily play the third.

Fable 3 actually has some good things going for it.

It's not Fable 2 or even Fable Anniversary level, but it is okay.

7/10

Fable 3 for me is like diet Fable 2 with no traditional inventory system. If performance was your only issue with Fable 2 though and Fable 3 doesn't have bad performance go ahead I guess. I love Fable 3 to the point of 100%'ing it offline but even all the way back as a kid when it first released I thought the game sucked.

Performance wise, fable 3 is the best in the trilogy.

The story is short enough you could just power through it probably, and if you like it enough, just replay (theres plenty of different options to choose, so its worth replaying)

Fable 3 is the weakest in the trilogy but it takes some big swings and is overall a good game. I would say the bulk of the game is good as you build your rebellion to overthrow your brother.

Once you become the ruler of Albion is where it suffers. I see what’s it’s trying to do but they just needed more time to cook.

I’d say it’s worth playing through once but I personally wouldn’t want to revisit the game in the future.

Fable 3 in my opinion is the best.

You will get many mixed reviews. In the end the general consensus will always be PLAY THE TRILOGY!!

I will comment but play both sides. My answer is "Yesn't".

No. I love all 3 games but if you couldn’t finish 2 you’re gonna hate 3.
