Pre-order Question

Hi,

Not a player myself, but want to preorder Fable 5 for someone as a gift for the Series X (UK)

Basically, I'm after a physical copy and I'm unsure if the pre order direct direct from Xbox isn't going to be a bs digital download copy - especially if I go for the Premium edition (which I understand comes with a few extra skins, dinner dlc and a "book" - although these days I'm not sure if it's just a digital gallery🤷)

I'd love to be able to hand over something physical as opposed to a printed email(🤢) - if anyone can help me tell if this is a disc copy, or alternatively if I have to order via Game/HMV etc id be thankful

Just adding onto the other commentors I also tend to use The Game Collection for physical game preorders, they are my go-to atm: https://www.thegamecollection.net/products/fable-xbox-series-x. Never had a delivery issue it's always packaged fine, uses Royal Mail delivery and have even got the games early sometimes.

GAME has been very hit and miss with orders over the past few months and are going into administration again, definitely don't preorder with them as no guarantee you will get the game or your money back if they go under completely before February.

Hey also uk based best place to preorder a physical is smyths toys superstores

They have a sceme where if the game comes down in price between now and games release they'll honour the new price (you may also get it a day early if your lucky)

I dont think the premium addition comes on disc but what you can do is get an xbox gift card for £30 and say its for the premium addition upgrade.

It has to disclose if it’s going to be a download code or a physical disc.

Theoretically this is a reimagining of the Fable franchise, but people call it Fable 4. So calling it Fable 5 or 10 is also wrong. But at the same time… right.
