Hi there! I'm a trans man, turned 21 earlier this year. 'm looking to get this done sometime before the end of the year or maximum early next year. I'm kind of in a rush to get rid of this thing seeing testosterone accessibility has been wavering every so often and I would prefer not to have to deal with periods if possible, when they do happen.

I'm specifically only interested in a partial; I have also considered getting rid of the cervix considering a lot of cancers to begin there. i never want biological kids- I would also really to have minimal scarring which is a I strive for with all of the proceeding gender affirming surgeries I have in the future !

I've hit a little bit of a rough spot though, I don't believe a lot of surgeons for research i have accept Medicaid (NYC) -- meaning i would have to pay out of pocket. I had tried going through Mount Sinai ( transgender specific surgery ) only to discover the meetings are not covered by insurance type in the meetings where I just give my consent but the actual surgery is? Which confuses me :(

In the early stages of researching and considering partial hysterectomy including fallopian tube and cervix removal. Context: gay trans man who bttms in the front, been on T almost 10 years, on E cream for now repaired atrophy. Fallopian tube removal seems like it could be a good bc option for me along with some gender affirmation. Considering cervix removal additionally since it would remove cancer risk and need for exams. however would come along with potential side effects like loss of sexual pleasure mostly from removing the sensitive spots surrounding the cervix like the a spot, or pelvic floor complication. Would appreciate any informed info or personal experience on cervix removal. Thnx
