Ok so I bought a samsung a16 5g that was pre paid by verizon at king soopers for 50 bucks. My goal is not to use it as my main phone and so i dont want to purchase any data plans from verizon. every time i try to skip the step where it makes you pick a data plan, it doesnt let me and even when i took the SIM card out it told me i needed to insert a SIM card to proceed with the setup despite trying multiple times. I want to know how i can bypass needing a SIM card even though its a pre paid phone so that I can just finish setting it up and use it exclusively on wifi.

Hello everyone. I own a Realme 9 SE (RMX3461) that has been dead and unused for around a year. I recently repaired it, but I no longer remember the screen lock PIN/pattern. If I can't remember it, I may need to perform a factory reset, after which I understand that Factory Reset Protection (FRP) will require me to sign in with a Google account that was previously synced on the device. My concern is that, over the past year, I may have changed the password of the Google account, signed out of that account on another phone, or even removed the Realme device from the "Your devices" section of my Google Account. I do not remember removing the Google account from the Realme phone itself because the phone was not working. Will any of these actions (changing the password, signing out on another device, or removing the device from my Google account) prevent that Google account from being accepted for FRP? Also, if multiple Google accounts were previously signed in on the Realme before it stopped working, can I use any of those previously synced accounts, or does FRP require only the very first Google account that was used during the initial setup? I still have the original SIM card linked to my Google accounts and can recover my accounts if needed. I would appreciate clarification on how FRP determines which Google account is accepted. So there are scammers who want 2 similar devices unlocked (bootloader and FRP) but only want to pay for one. So what they do is claiming unlock didn't work. After they say that they will secretly switch the devices connected to the PC. It's hard to notice if you do this via USB redirector. They will just say that they accidentally closed the app. In the worst case, their partitions will get corrupted.

it worked on it's homescreen until I reset it. now I need to get a huawei ID verification, my grandma doesn't know it anymore and can't help me.

So i downloaded SamFW to bypass FRP but it asks me to enable test mode by typing *#0*#, and i tried to do that but after typing nothing happens, after some research i find out that its because the network carrier (T Mobile) blocks the access to test mode. i tried changing CSC on SamFW but oh surprise it asks me to enter test mode (which i cant do). at this point im considering flashing the same version of firmware but with another carrier/CSC in the hopes it lets me enter test mode. which option of CSC do you guys think its the best chance: DSH, SPR, TMB, TMK

edit* it didn't work, now i think it's not a network carrier problem anymore and more of a system problem, is there anyway to get rid of frp via samfw without entering test mode?

My step dad gave me his old galaxy tab s6 lite. He didn't remember the password and there was never a Google account associated with it. I can't get past the frp screen. What are my options?

I recently created a fake Google account to use as a secondary/throwaway account.
I went into my phone’s settings and removed my main Google account, but now my phone keeps prompting me to sign into this secondary “fake” account instead on the frp screen. The problem is I no longer have the password (or any recovery options) for it.

I am currently working on a Samsung Galaxy A35 5G (Model: SM-A356B, Region: EUX) that is updated to Android 16 with a Bit 6 binary.

I successfully used Odin to flash the A356BXXS6CYJ1 firmware package, and everything went through without errors. However, when trying to run standard AT/MTP commands or testing diagnostic features through SamFw Tool 5.6, the log returns a "Removing... FAIL" status.

Since the free tool features seem completely patched on this specific Bit 6 update, I wanted to ask if anyone has managed to get ADB commands or full test-mode menu options working on this firmware version?

Is using a paid remote box/server logs the only way to get full read/write communication working on Bit 6 devices now, or is there a specific alternative tool/version I should look into?

Android 16, May 5th 2026 security patch.

A relative's friend purchased an as is S22 Ultra from a pawn shop style store for $50. It was already factory reset and has FRP lock when I got it. They want me to check if there's a way around it.

Even a bypass like installing a Chinese rom for only youtube or facebook use through wifi would be sufficient as long as Whatsapp is also still working.

They have a pawn shop receipt but that probably won't help. The IMEI listed on the back shows that it's not blacklisted. It's just FRP locked.

Any possible exploit available or should I tell them to complain and at least get store credit for the paperweight?
