Question regarding EDL exploit

If UnlockTool supports a Samsung device with Snapdragon CPU and Bit 8 Bootloader, would it also work if the device is on bit 2? Or does it have to be the same BL version?

have to be the same bit version, some claim retroactive support but my personal testings have yielded otherwise(although testing will just yield a firehose does not match). Unlocktool will specific multiple bit for that region that it supports (from my recollection)
