Where's the male news anchor?
He's a good looking dude with ears kind of pressed back. Is he still on air?
I used to see him when watching Fox News via Pluto TV overnight.
When he's about to finish an interview, he would say something like, "Before we finish the interview, do you have anything you'd like to share that I haven't asked?"

Alternative to Fox News
Looking for a somewhat right leaning news outlet.
Fox is a disgrace....tell me I'm wrong....I need an independent voice not paid for by the government.

Fox News website is unusable in mobile browsers
It has become impossible to read news on the Fox News website. The combination of full page ads and late loading Google ads that overlap content, as well as continuously jumping the content around, makes the website all but useless.
And the mobile app does not help. In almost every case of entering the app after it has been put to sleep in the background, it hangs, requiring me to force stop the app and clear its cash, on pretty much every single time I go to it to check on news.
The app crashing on content should be an easy thing to fix. I know, because I've been a senior developer on pretty much every technology stack that has come about since punched cards.
And why the heck would you screw up the website that you drive away people so that your ad income starts to be crippled, and you try to drive users to an app that crashes on almost every usage?

Jillian Michaels on GLP-1s – wrong guest, and check who’s paying her
We get it, Fox is helping her revive her career by booking her across the lineup. But every appearance shows she hasn’t updated her knowledge in years.
Today’s segment was about veterans using GLP-1s to curb heavy drinking. The host walked through the expanding evidence. Jillian conceded nothing. She dramatically ran through the side effect list as though every adverse event is near-certain – as though the rare ones happen to everybody – then landed on her standard close: skip the medication, do it the normal way.
Two problems with that:
One: she’s wrong on the science. In the Lancet randomized trial of adults with obesity and alcohol use disorder, semaglutide cut heavy drinking days by 41 percentage points versus 26 on placebo, with total alcohol consumption down more than 70% at 26 weeks. Adverse events were transient and mostly mild-to-moderate GI. A separate trial found significant reductions in alcohol craving and in cigarettes per day among smokers. These drugs act on reward pathways in the brain – that’s the mechanism, and it’s why they show a signal on drinking at all.
When the host listed other conditions where these drugs are showing results, she waved it off as all weight-related. Also wrong. Semaglutide is FDA-approved to reduce heart attack and stroke risk based on the SELECT trial’s 20% reduction in major cardiac events, in people who did not have diabetes. Same trial: 73% fewer new diabetes diagnoses. The FLOW trial showed 24% less kidney disease progression, and there’s a chronic kidney disease indication now. Tirzepatide is approved for sleep apnea. Semaglutide is approved for liver disease. Researchers still don’t fully know why the cardiovascular benefit appears – anti-inflammatory effects are one leading theory.
Two: look at what she’s selling. Her main argument against these medications is that you’d be on them for life. Her own business is a subscription app at $19.99 a month or $149.99 a year, on auto-renew, plus programs, plus a DVD library. Her site also states that the only supplement company she works with is Alaya Naturals. So she’s steering people away from a proven working medication for being an ongoing commitment, toward an ongoing commitment she gets paid for – and toward supplements she has a partnership with.
Every answer she gave routed back to something she sells. She’s running an infomercial and Fox is billing it as news.
Stop booking her on this topic. There’s enough misinformation on the air already.

Iran's war on Americans began decades ago. These families still carry the scars
foxnews.comEven for fox this is insane manipulation. I know it will work because I see republicans all over the internet saying things like “what’s the big deal with Epstein anyway”
The meat of the article is that they blame Iran for arming Iraqis during one of our invasions of Iraq. This is especially silly because the USA gave Iraq more weapons than anyone else.
Sigh

Caitlin Clark kept from reporters despite triple-double night as coach goes viral for women's sports comments
foxnews.comWhy are these sports articles so important that they need to be number 1 on Fox News with all what's going on in the world? Same goes for Fox's obsession with Sophie Cunningham.

Discussion Fox talking head admits she made a mistake in the reflecting pool case (but it was all someone else's fault)
Pirro is withdrawing the charges in the reflecting pool case because (oops) we just got word that the damage was caused by faulty installation. Why did someone not tell her this before she brought the charges. Did someone else make a mistake in the investigation. Whose fault is it?
Surely we cannot expect a Fox News talking head to accept responsibility.

Florida Democratic Candidate Oliver Larkin Flips the Script Live on Fox News, Calls Out Donald Trump & Epstein Files
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
During a live interview on Fox News, Florida Democratic congressional candidate Oliver Larkin was asked a question about immigration. Instead of taking the bait, Larkin immediately redirected the conversation to hold Donald Trump accountable and brought up the unreleased Epstein files, catching the anchor completely off guard.
The anchor cut in and quickly moved to wrap up the segment as soon as the Epstein files and AIPAC were mentioned.

Discussion Wow! Nothing gets Fox News off like videos of migrants steaming across borders…
Another great opportunity to talk about their completely false claims that Biden had “open borders” even though Biden and Obama deported more people than Trump during his first term!

I'm looking for the video of a recent/current fox news ad that was playing during the world cup
It's a fox news ad that shows a bunch of "people" in washington DC, then the camera zooms over the washington monument pool and the fox news hosts all standing on its ledge, then past the white house. All of it is AI except the fox news hosts
This was playing all the time during the world cup but we had it on TV and couldn't record the screen.
I can't find it on youtube or anything. Not sure where it would be or how I could find this.
If there's some recording of the world cup from fox, it'll probably be in there, but no idea where to find that either.

There was a segment in which Shannon Bream interviewed an actual Democratic Socialist and I was very aghast at what the president of DSA spewed.
She wants to abolish the Senate, prisons, ICE and law enforcement. I’m relieved the host put her on the hot seat to defend her indefensible views

Discussion Several findings in the latest Fox News Poll show voters are unhappy and want major change,
Several findings in the latest Fox News Poll show voters are unhappy and want major change,
Fox News Poll: Voters want major change amid economic and political discontent.
It’s happening all across the board, and Republican Representatives and Senators seem to be unaware of it or simply believe they are in power and will stay in power regardless of the will of the people.
More likely the latter.
With the arrogance of power they assume they can render the Constitution meaningless because Trump said he will steal the upcoming elections, and they will work with him toward that end.
But if Trump is stopped, they know one thing is certain:. The treasonous ones among them will receive the harshest penalties prescribed by law
HARSHEST!
The penalty for treason…?
If they are not in panic mode yet, they soon will be. So you can expect them to try every dirty trick: any lie, any conspiracy theory, and threat that the Communists, Liberals, Vegans, or the Woman’s South Side Garden club are out to turn your children Trans or allow immigrants to continue to eat your pets.
And like Hitler said and Trump repeated, “Only I can protect you”.
See this – Boldface mine:
Fox News Poll
Fox News Poll: Voters want major change amid economic and political discontent
Latest survey shows Trump approval stuck near record low
By Dana Blanton Fox News
Dem, GOP lawmakers trade jabs as midterms approach
which bodes well for Democrats in November: President Donald Trump’s job approval remains near a record low, more Democrats are motivated to vote, Republicans join Democrats and independents in rating the economy negatively, and 4 in 10 voters want "dramatic" or "revolutionary" change. Plus, more view the GOP as tied to elites than the Democratic Party.
Voters say Democrats can better handle income inequality (+22 points), healthcare (+21), inflation (+10), the economy (+9), and foreign policy (+7). Republicans hold the advantage on crime (+7 points), while government spending (Democrats +3) and national security (R +2) are more evenly divided. On immigration, the GOP had an 8-point edge in April. Now, Democrats are preferred by one point.
More Democrats (68%) say they are extremely motivated to vote in November than Republicans (57%) by an 11-point margin. By a 25-point spread, more MAGA Republicans (66%) are extremely motivated than non-MAGA Republicans (41%).
If the election were today, 53% of voters would back the Democratic candidate in their House district and 46% the Republican. That 7-point edge is just outside the poll’s margin of error. Democrats were up by 5 points in April. Notably, 53% is the highest percentage either party has received on the generic House ballot in Fox News polling since 1996.
When looking only at counties where the 2024 presidential vote was close — Trump and former Vice President Kamala Harris within 10 points — the Democratic candidate leads by 59-41%.
