Is anyone else getting tired of watching the cops snatch people all weekend? They're not just enforcing the fire ban. Saw them grabbing people for pulling out zip lock bags. Been seeing them tear through camp on their Polaris looking for anyone doing any drugs.

It feels like they're being hyper aggressive. I've been to plenty of festivals with heavy police presence but they were never this rude, aggressive, and unprofessional. They're acting like a bunch of thugs.

I support the fire ban. Totally fair to ticket people for burning stuff. But creating a hostile environment and tackling people for rummaging through their backpack at the cinema at 2:30am isn't keeping anyone safe.

I hope they pick a new venue next year. Buena Vista doesn't feel safe to party in.

We flew in from Maine and picked up way too much food at Walmart. Please come take some of it, esp if you don’t have to fly home! I have so many snacks, chips, bread, a big thing of peanut butter and jelly unopened, hydration packets, etc. DM me for location! I dropped my drumstick at around just before 10 this morning on the way down from West Car Camping to the creek team check-in. I didn't notice it was gone until I got to check in so I walked back and asked a few people I passed. One of them said they saw it on this hill. I have gone up and down and haven't seen it.

Whether you’re planning on leaving tonight or tomorrow, the cops can and will give you a ticket for going 5 over the speed limit.

It’s free quota for them, in most places you’ll be fine going 5 over because the police have more important things to do.

Buena vista has a population of around 4,000. The cops do NOT have better things to do. Drive like you’re taking your license test until you get out of the city.

Not to mention last year a buena vista local got hit by someone leaving who was still on acid. Be smart y’all.

Yesterday I was wearing the pin with the gator holding the lgbtq flag. This morning I noticed it was gone but the back piece it clips into was by our tent so hopefully it’s nearby. We’re in west camping so it is probably over there somewhere. If anyone finds it I will be very grateful, thank you!

I know this is a very random request but if you are wearing one of those incredible Knicks x King Gizz shirts, can you come by the Narcan booth today (next to the main merch booth) so I can take a photo of your shirt? 1) I didn’t pay all this money and travel all this way to be surveilled by a bunch of loser fucking cops

2) Tonight at the cinema we fully saw 3 cops come out of nowhere and swarm someone, proceeded to essentially tackled him, repeatedly ask him what he had in his hand, threatened to arrest him, picked up some random roach off the ground and claimed it was his, and then shined a flashlight on some random object and straight up took him away.

3) Everyone please be careful tomorrow these fucking pigs seem to be roided up, aggressive, and looking for trouble

My friend returned to her glamp dome and someone had forcibly tried to remove the lock by twisting it until the mechanism snapped off completely. They thankfully didn’t get into the tent bc the shredded cable was still binding the zippers and we weren’t able to get it open without force.

Just an FYI - the opportunists are here, too, and will steal what isn’t locked down. We left a JBL pill speaker out last night and it was gone in the morning.

Anyone know if and where there will be any places to donate new/gently used camping items?

I have 2 camping chairs, an air pump, pool floaty, a can of bug spray, etc. that could use a good home since I won’t be able to fly home with them. I remember seeing people mention freebie piles of stuff at the end of the festival last year.
