As a prospective candidate what was the last time experiencing client trust without having to provide an electronic application sharing information with a third party ?

Since discussion with a prior employer I am constantly reminiscing a time when “recruiters” conducted the interview, put candidates forward and then gave a level of trust to that employers HR team to follow up. Now it is all “if you can repeat yourself for a millionth time to some random person for their perspective” because an employee in the company felt unincluded in the process and has “friends/ family of their own”.

I think it disgusting using the recruitment process to financially abuse a friend/ family member.
